Yeah, great anecdote - and I've fired people who continue to show they would rather be home than at work.
We're not talking about stocking cans at a local retail which can be done by any monkey with little to no training. These are adults in a physically violent game that need all the practice they can get before a game which is a few days away.
Now they both got to go home and sit around on their butts, and it seems Hill would rather sleep his life away than become a starter. I say let him stay there. Next man up.
Group dynamics are a thing even if you don't think so. I guess we can disagree on how much affect they have.
I'm not sure what the stocking cans analogy meant, i't didn't pertain to my 'anecdote'.
I will say this however, they are both participating in practice today, which i disagree with. To drive these types of points home the consequences have to extend beyond the day it occurred to have a lasting effect.
I would not have allowed them back to practice today.
