Any guesses why no holding calls involving Parsons?

Consistency is what is COMPLETELY LACKING.
THAT is the major reason it looks so bad.
What is called by one crew in one game changes in the next and then changes in the third.
How so? When it comes to holding calls the most flag happy crew in the league is Ron Torbet's staff. They have 37 offensive holding calls on the year. The crew with the least penalties on the year is Carl Cheffer's with 24 offensive holding calls. Yeah you can find some missed calls, but in general the league isn't calling many holding calls no matter who the crew is.

Makeup calls for all the garbage calls they gave us?

Or....maybe the officials are so old....they simply don't see anything that's happening at high speed well, and concentrate on slow moving things like the KC offsides that ended the game on the Kelce pass

Either way....there will always be missed calls in every game for both teams....but in this case we definitely got the "home cooking" help from the refs
Not sure we exactly got home-cooking. It was pretty even. They called a similar hold on Steele that they missed when Parsons was trying to chase down Hurts. They called Biadasz for a clipping that wasn't even close to one. They decided on a no-call on a quick hold by us and they called a PI on Slay that the announcers thought was questionable (he did grab and hold Gallup briefly, though).

Please point out the home cooking help we received.

They evidently missed all of the holding calls involving Parsons…..the clipping call was crap and even the announcers and ref emeritus pointed that out.
They did, but they picked up a lot of flags on us, during KEY MOMENTS.

Believe me, I'm not one to stick up for the refs. There's so much room to improve and the league doesn't seem to care. It's maddening.

I really think with the number of calls that were waved off in this one that the officiating crew had been given explicit instruction before the game to make sure that officiating was not the reason either team lost. Of course, the bogus clipping call could have made a big difference in a closer game.

I would like to see this happen more often. Flags are thrown in the heat of the moment. Officials should be willing to talk to each other and determine if a penalty is worth calling. Maybe more bad calls would be avoided that way.

Parsons had to sell it more. Do a pirouette like Cox dod on his holding call.
Parsons did throw his hands up afterward, but Cox practically quit in the middle of the play and started acting out for the call. Parsons tried to run down Hurts and then threw his hands up when the play was over.

Having your performance, or lack thereof, questioned and ridiculed post game by a particular player tends to upset refs. Maybe Parsons should keep his critiques to himself and play ball. The calls will come.
Unlikely. Why would that suddenly change? The officials already decided how they're going to treat Parsons, he won't be permitted to wreck games. He'll get the occasional call but nowhere close to the frequency they're being committed.

Maybe, but if Parsons keeps running his mouth it's doubtful he'll get any calls. He should concentrate on his play instead of worrying about the non-calls.

Granted that stating his case will likely not help since the league and its officials are untouchable, but some people aren't easily cowed into submission and call things how they see them. I admire that.

Probably because if they did, it would be Flag Day....gets held almost every other time. The NFL don't want that, too much stoppage of the game they want to shorten on the field.

KInda like when Richard Sherman held constantly, but didn't get called for it.

I have often wondered why Parsons doesn't get the holding calls, and it may be because they would be calling 20 a game. Of course, I have never seen a guy blow past 3 lineman so fast they barely touched him. Sometimes, he's so fast at his first step and swim moves they really don't get a chance to hold him. Crazy...

because if they called it consistently for players like Garrett Parsons Watt opposing offenses would need 20 yards every set of downs and that would lead to no offense.

While Johnson had his arms wrapped around Parsons holding him the entire 15 yards. It was a blatant hold.
Actually, I didn’t think that was a hold. The quarterback had the ball, and Johnson was between Parsons and Hurts… How was at a hold? They were grabbing each other and doing a steady walk towards the quarterback.

Holding is the most blatant inconsistency; but it goes for virtually all penalties
and you need to stop regurgitating macro numbers because that is frankly misleading

Man this thing trying to blame the Eagles blowout loss on the refs.

He's likely going to have to start selling the calls more. Same crap the Eagles were doing, Fletcher Cox and em doing pirouettes to draw the refs attention
Yeah...lol...I was mentioning that in the game thread. He needs to take pirouette lessons.
