Any guesses why no holding calls involving Parsons?

He's likely going to have to start selling the calls more. Same crap the Eagles were doing, Fletcher Cox and em doing pirouettes to draw the refs attention
I don’t know if he should because it could slow his momentum. He gets holds and continues to fight through them and get sacks, like the sack of Hurts with Johnson holding (choking) him.

It has become blatantly obvious that Parsons is being held on a huge number of plays and officials refuse to call it. One in particular was the sack Parsons got on Hurts and Lane Johnson had in him in a bear hug for 10 yards. Lane had his arms around Parsons, a bear hug, holding him from the get go to to the qb and Parsons still sacked Hurts. It was blatant, obvious, and egregious. It can be nothing other than corruption or incompetence. To say that Parsons has not done enough to get the calls falls in the corruption category because this would suggest officials see the hold but refuse to call it because Parsons is not the player that merits consideration. On the other hand, not one of the 7 officials on the field observed the hold, at the point of attack, with the ball in Hurts hands, and Johnson with Parsons in a bear hug grip and that is not incompetence????? There are dozens of other examples, including a hands to face that was not called on Philly agains Parsons but called against Parsons on an earlier play. None of this is making sense.
The trained dog announcers will not acknowledge the obvious infractions, and average fans will never voice an opinion and never see it.
Parsons has accepted the fact that he will be blatantly held 70 percent of the time and there is no benefit for him to throw his arms up in disgust.

They’re not going to call them unless they’re flagrant. There’s a lot of holding that goes on upfront. There would be flags flying all day if they called every bit of holding that goes on.
The flagrant argument does not cut it…i see ticky tack calls all the time…….

Horse teeth Collingsworth does when it involves philly….he even ran back the tape on the smith hold that was picked up.….but horse teeth is an avowed cowboy hater.

So in 8 games or so, not a single holding call involving Parsons……case closed. No offensive line could be that perfect and against THE BEST pass rusher in the NFL. Present this to the comish as proof of corruption. Case closed.
What case are you trying to make though? If it's that the NFL is rigged against the Cowboys then no it's still far from case closed. If it's that the NFL as a whole isn't making enough holding calls then I can agree with you there.

Across the league this year we are seeing just 1.09 offensive holding calls per team per game. It's simply not a frequent call. The Cowboys defense this year has accepted 13 holding calls, declined 8 so the Cowboys are actually slightly ahead of the curve in terms of getting holding calls on their behalf on defense.

That is just ridiculous. Every nfl game has exponentially more than 1 offensive holding call. Making crap up wont help. If this was the case, holding should not even be officiated anymore. This is BS.

However, holding goes on all the time. The game would be completely ruined if they called every single bit of holding that goes on up front.

Bingo. With so many elite pass rushers, and not even just the edge players but guys up the middle that are nearly unstoppable the NFL is letting Olines play a little bit. If they didn't most games would be punt fests as every other player would be either a sack or a penalty.

Consistency is what is COMPLETELY LACKING.
THAT is the major reason it looks so bad.
What is called by one crew in one game changes in the next and then changes in the third.

That is a laugh. With all the rules changes benefiting the offense that is a joke of an argument

Yeah the rules favor the offense in todays game, and calling fewer holding penalties is just consistent with the leagues philosophy of favoring offenses. Not sure why that's a joke?
