Oh, and back to the Lakers....I don't see Bynum coming back this year in any round. Even if he get's healthy enough I think it would be a risk putting him in with the worry of re-injuring his leg, but most importantly I think the team has great chemistry right now and I wouldn't want to mess with that.

Do what we can this year as we are (I think that is good enough to win the title anyway) and give Bynum the rest of the year to recover and make the Kobe-Gasol-Bynum push next year.

You forgot Odom. Odom is playing wonderful. Ever since the Pau trade he has been playing like Laker fans have wanted him to play for years. I would still trade him for a young stud like Igoudala in a second though.

Lamar is playing great, but the big three would be Kobe-Gasol-Bynum. Lamar would be the guy backing up the big three.

ya, might as well forget about him this year, plus like you said, the chemistry is great right now.

Odom is playing out of his mind, you can tell he's so focused... Man that's a scary team. They're the best passing team in the NBA and to think they don't have a "true traditional" point guard leading the way.

I think Kobe just proved why he's the best player in the NBA, amazing game and then an unbelievable finish. Dished out 5 assists at the end of the 3rd to give LA a 10 point lead and then in the 4th he puts up 19 points in 4 and a half minutes....can't touch him.

49 and 10 in the playoff's....

Ouch.....just kick me in the nads next time. It hurts less. :(

I bet he and the Bulls are wishing they had pulled the trigger on that deal when they had the chance.

haha, i guess you must be a bandwagon fan to forget how those lakers teams that won championships didnt beat the spurs in the regular season and then crushed them when it mattered. btw the spurs got swept by the cavs last year, didnt seem to matter in the playoffs. a number one seed hasnt won a championship since the spurs did in 03. You also obviously dont pay much attention to the nba if you think that duncan regular season and duncan postseason is the same player. btw even rasho nesterovic has blocked duncan, doesnt make him a better player. come back to me when the lakers win a championship because of gasol and he wins the finals mvp. until he proves otherwise in a PRESSURE situation i will reserve the right to think of him as a choke artist, just like dirk. btw the celtics played a playoff game yesterday, but the pressure wasnt very high because their opponent was inferior, it happens a lot in the regular season, the spurs/suns series is the exception not the rule.
Sorry for the late response my internet shut down on me and won't be up until Monday:bang2: .

Bandwagon fan? I have been a Laker fan for 30 yrs I could probably tell you more about San Antonio than you know so lets not go there. As for continuance of pressure situations.ically what i am trying to explain to you is that there are all kinds of pressure. You just don't seem to get that. Anyway lets talk about how you won't to throw out that big game that your Spurs loss against my lakers. A game they needed to get a #1 seed so they wouldn't have to deal with a team like the Suns who have outplayed your Spurs but don't have anything to show for it. Stop living in the pass with this team beat that team crap years ago. Were talkin about your 08 Spurs against my 08 Lakers and when Gino didn't play Tim Duncan didn't step up when he played the Lakers and now he has to deal with the Suns. Who will win Friday night. This will continue if you guys get to The western conference championships, we will be waiting.

Actually Kobe Veto'd it with his no trade clause. He wouldn't accept any deal that had Deng coming to LA. He wanted to play with Deng.

Funny thing is Deng and Gordon had awful years.

Edit..... nevermind. I realize you are talking about Gasol going to Chicago, and not Kobe.

The Bulls fans say that their owner didn't want to pay the luxury tax, and that is why the Chicago deal didn't go down.

I was meaning Chris Wallace, GM of the Grizzlies - Pau Gasol for Deng, Thomas, et. al.

I'm sure Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak is extremely pleased with the trade he made compared to any other option that was available.

I'm sure Mitch is very happy with the trade, he has made Laker fans and Laker players very happy with it as well. A great roster, great chemistry and the best closer in the league....the Lakers have a lot of things going this year.

Ariza cleared for on court drills. That is HUGE for LA. We need him out there. People forget that he was starting, and playing a lot better than Walton, Radman, and Sasha before he broke his foot.

Nice, he can come in and help off the bench...the bench is already deep, even more so now. Still have no doubt it will be San Antonio vs LA in the western finals.

btw i am NOT saying that the lakers cant beat the spurs or win a championship, im just saying that the verdict is still out on gasol being a solid performer when the pressure is on, and that in my opinion he wont take it well. but thats why the lakers have kobe.
1st game against the Utah Jazz who in your words would abuse him like a red Head step child 18 points 10 rebs 5 assists. You darn right you were wrong and i am not acting all high and mighty. It was you who question my knowledge of the game not once have I question yours, it was you who tried to insult our player who came off a 36 point 16 reb 8 assist night. It you who are making stuff up about me burying teams and its you who act as if you know so much more than me but you call me high and mighty. Yea right.
