Things I would like about California - I like wine and there are plenty of vineyards there. A lot of big cities and also a lot of countryside too so i think that is nice a nice mix. Its on the coast and i like that. Typically very good weather - low humidity. I think I would miss the changing seasons after a while though.

You aren't really talking about CA so much as Southern CA (LA, San Diego). Plenty of changing seasons and bad weather in the state.

Go to an inner city bar, strike up a conversation with some low level mafia dudes and let them take you around. You'll never regret it.

LOL, jeeze you guys really think being Canadian I know nothing about American History. That is actually one of the main sites id love to see. So much history in that one building, along with the Square. George Washington stood in that building for crying out loud lol. Im really excited to see that

Not that you wouldn't know. Just that you might not care.

I would want to visit the sites of your great Canandian ancestors, too. Like when Yukon Cornelius sleighed the Abominable Snowman just outside of Edmonton. That was awesome.

Why do I suddenly want to re-watch "Strange Brew"?

Enjoy the game... although it would be better to watch at home.

My suggestions for a trip to Philly is grab a cheese steak sandwich and then get the heck out. Philly is one of the great crap holes on earth that shouldn't be that way. It use to be a nice place.

What do you want to bet a lot of the Eagles fans are actually proud of how the act. Their crude behavior and reputation makes it almost impossible for their home games to become overrun by the other teams fans ( like we were against the 49ers, Texans, etc.)

I hate it when home games become 50/50 in regards to fans, but I prefer that than to be like Eagles fans.

I would definitely consider grabbing some Italian food if you're coming from the mid-west, western US. You could probably get a better cheese steak than Geno's or Pat's at any hoagie/grinder/sub/pizza place in the city.

They have some good beer in the city, too. I always liked Yuengling Porter but there are many others.

You are spreading false rumors. That car that caught on fire was not a Cowboys' fans car. Turned out it was an Eagles fan's car that caught on fire because the idiot owner put his grill and hot coals too close to the car before going into the game.

http://www.crossingbroad.com/2012/11/car-fire-in-parking-lot-outside-lincoln-financial-field.html

So some bum on a radio station spoke to a service guy for AAA and this information is gospel? AAA? Maybe AAA fire rescue.

UPDATE 3
: 97.3 ESPN's Ryan Messick spoke with a AAA service guy. He was told it was an Eagles fan's car and was, indeed, accidental.

I guess they didn't really boo Santa Claus either?
Or they weren't booing Michael Irvin laying on the field looking paralyzed, they were actually booing Dion Sanders for praying for him.

Where's your proof it was a Dallas Cowboys fan? The only "info" on that was internet rumor that spun out of control.

AAA came to tow the car after the fire.

It really doesn't matter. You accused me of spreading rumors somehow and you posted an article that's only source of it being an Eagles fan came from a nameless AAA tow truck driver. It's not even a relevant article or story at this point.

But since you felt the need to defend the Eagles fans I would like you to at least bring a real source of proof. Don't you think that Jeffery Laurie (Eagles owner) would not want a story about his trashy fans setting a rival fans car on fire in his stadium parking lot? It's a business and this is bad for business. Face the facts. The Eagles fans have earned the reputation they wear. They didn't put a jail cell in the stadium because the fans are respectful that's for sure.

The fact is I was at the stadium and maybe the rumor around the stadium wasn't accurate. Or maybe it was. But some unnamed source who towed the burned car away is far from a legit source and definitely not enough to accuse a fellow Cowboys fan of spreading rumors...come on man. Lighten up.

I don't think Laurie cares who's car it was or why it was on fire. So long as he's not liable - which he wouldn't be.

Not that you'd be looking for trouble, but if someone else hasn't suggested it, just get a travel medical policy from an insurance company in Canada. It'll be like $20, but it'll cover you the whole trip upto $5M in case you have to go to the hospital. Not to scare you, I doubt it's all that dangerous, probably more annoying, but better safe than sorry (and broke)
