Anyone still think Reggie McNeal can't play QB in the NFL?

Damnit, I forgot who I was arguing with again:

Sorry kid, be a big boy and don't snitch to mommy
lol, coming from a 20 year old who I'm sure isn't still getting help from mommy himself.

McNeal's issue is size.
At least his issue at the next level.

His issues at ATM are that he didn't seem to improve; and never really ran the offense as one would have suspected.

Comparing him to VY at this point is just silly. VY was the best player in College football this year and showed it in multiple big games. He beat OSU with his arm and USC with his legs.

Coming out these guys were ranked 1 and 2 in the state with VY also being number one in many national rankings.

McNeal strikes me as a very similar prospect to Quincy Carter. Amazing freshman seasons, 6'2" and 212 ish; good speed, lackluster college career finish.

I figured you would play the Vick card, however I am sorry to inform you that you are, once again, wrong.

Vick runs a 4.4, while McNeal has been unofficially clocked at 4.3. Now, take the unofficial times with a grain of salt, however right now there is no evidence that Vick is faster than McNeal.

Vick has terrible accuracy, couldnt even hit the tire at 15 yards.

Vick's vertical was 27" coming into the NFL

The 60 yards flat footed?

He is standing at his own 38 on that throw

The tire thing I saw for myself at Spring preactice 2 years ago
OMG is this getting funny, McNeal just took about four steps and a hop before he threw that pass. Looked like the QB competition when they see who can throw the longest pass. Show the clip of McNeal curling up on the ground like a little ***** his junior year against Texas because he saw DJ coming, you know? the linebacker that's scared to hit.

McNeal = Michael Bishop, fast, super strong arm although they both throw a five yard pass just like a fifty yard pass, neither will stand in the pocket and take a hit(something you have to do to succeed in the NFL), neither is a leader, neither very big.

Oh snap... we're going to have a homer-off!
What does saying snap mean? I heard a couple elementary kids saying that when I went to see my daughter in a play Friday.

A 40 time and how many passing yards someone has are completely different, and for your sake I hope you can see that.

A 40 time is a god given athletic ability that can make some players better than others. 5,000 passing yards in a CF season measn you will bust in the NFL. See Andre Ware.
bahahahaha, stats are silly unless it's McNeal's stats.

McNeal runs a 4.4 flat with pads

Nice try though

However, this post still doesnt make sense. You now know that I am right, stats dont mean everything, and are now focusing on 40 times, which have nothing to do with stats.
Stat's don't mean everything?
You're original post to start this stupid thread:

Will easily win the MVP of the Shrine game, he is 9-11 for over 200 yards and 2 TDs, 4 rushes for 40 yards, and led a TD drive on all 4 drives he was apart of. All this against some of the best competition in college football.

What an aggie.

Bull****, you know it, I know it, everybody knows it. There's a reason 65,000 aggie fans were thrilled to have a qb that's not scared to get hit when McGee played against Texas.

He stands in the pocket until pressured then he escapes it. What want him to stay in the pocket and get nailed.Id rather him run it and not get hit

You have to stand in the pocket and take hits to be successful in the NFL, McNeal will not do it.

Damn, 15 pages :laugh2:

Anyway, this went exactly the way I figured it would, Texas fans saying McNeal is complete garbage and will never amount to anything, while everyone else knows that he has amazing talent and could do something at the next level.

For all you guys saying that the NFL scouts see nothing in mcNeal:

"Write this down," said NFL evaluator Dan Shonka, a former scout with three NFL teams. "Reggie McNeal will be a better pro quarterback than Vince Young. Vince is a good athlete, but he could be a $50 million mistake." However, Vince would be a great $50 Mil TE." -while watching Reggie's performance yesterday.

Stupid thread. The receivers were making him look good catching balls thrown quite wildly...

Yeah, the 60 yard bomb between 2 defenders down the sideline was real "wild"
