Apartment Living

Apartment living is not for me. As others here have alluded to, you can't escape bad neighbors in a apartment complex. Townhome or small house will be my downsize target.

I did both at the same time. Had my house in Dallas and an apartment in OK that I commuted to because I needed to have a local presence.

There is another option which I am doing now, renting a house. I've got some of the advantages Runny mentioned as well as more space. I moved to an area I was not sure I would like and am still not sure and am very glad I do not own a house.

The problem I had with living in an apartment complex was the women, they just wouldn't leave me alone. The constant requests for recipes was annoying.

Just give them bad recipes

If you mean dating. Not happening. After 25 years married to her, i have no interest in dating. You know Chris, I should have saw this coming, no one in her family has sense responsibility. Her parent were real bad parents...she has 2 sisters and a brother, the one sister and brother have no sense responsibility either. Her 1 sister I get along with great, her husband has been my best friends for 35 years...unfortunately he has a bad ticker. My parents were far from perfect, but they lead by example and it was always about being responsible.

I just could not see anyway I would want to or decide to move into an apartment.
I think for me it would have to be one of those worse case scenarios that are so bad that living in an apartment would be the least of my worries.

I am moving into a small modular home. Which is way better than an apartment, and I own it outright...I'm not an apartment type of person. That's why I hate cities, people on top of each other sucks.

I am making progress. I have the entire upstairs emptied, the entire basement emptied. Now just to empty the middle level. My best friend of 35 years offered to help. He has been a great friend through my separation. He is currently watching my dog Remi this week.

I too only have one neighbor and I dislike them as well. I'm sure its vice-versa.

I finished moving out my home, staying at Dads tonight, wait for the call to pick up key for new. It’s been stressful. I had a storage box delivered, took 6 days to load ... I was up at 7 and loading till 1130 am ... now get to unload all weekend, fun. What I find weird, I tossed all memories of my year marriage. My wife kept all the memories, photos and keep sakes. She wants a divorce and to hang onto the memories...that is messed up...

No,it’s normal...because she’s the one who was seeing other people,isnt angry or hurt,and got closure. She’s fine about things,and you’re not and won’t be. She’ll even want to remain friends and stuff and call once in awhile to say hi or something. I’ve been through it...and I know. The heart wants what it wants. It’s the most bitter and frustrating pill to swallow in life I know of. IT SUCKS. I’m telling you,you need to go “do something” and I’m not talking about dating.

looool No,I’m actually a good driver. Only would speed on certain runs. I drive pretty chill and slow for a almost a year now.
