lol Dude spare me the BS. Going off of what is being reported, the injury is no big deal. It's not about being a doctor. It's about going with what we're being told and using common sense and knowledge of said injury.
Nah let's just think of the worst possible outcome sand then assume that is what's going to happen.

Oh and let's also post in a very solemn tone too. Sounds more legitimate that way.

Maybe they can figure out a way to put a bed in there like they do on some of those transcontinental flights

With what some people think the injury is, you'd think they'd need to strap him into a hospital bed and hook up to his vital signs for the flight. lol

I would rather lose these two games with Weeden than get Romo hurt for the season by playing him now. I want Romo as healthy as possible for that Thanksgiving game against the Eagles. It's good he gets a game to knock off the rust against the Giants before playing Philly.

The thing is, would a few weeks of rest actually help Romo out? From what I have read, rest is the best medicine.

Romo is a friggin warrior that's for sure. He may be the toughest player of our time.

Really, who else has played with:
Busted throwing hand
Busted ribs
Busted lungs
Broken back

And for the "most" part he has played effectively.

Whatever else you might say about Tony he absolutely gives it his all and then some.

He has my eternal respect and gratitude for wearing The Star with such honor.

The poor bastid has been carrying this 8-8 team for years. Many QB's that came in when Romo did would have never survived what Romo has done in his time playing.

No they are not. Do yourself a favor and Google the injury. His back is not broken.

I don't care if its broken or fractured. His back already has stability issues and now you can add on two fractured piece of his spine. If he takes another big shot to his back nobody knows the outcome. But what we do know is this is a fragile back.

Agree that as bad as we might want him to gut it out and get a W , the bigger fish are waiting.

I would expect there's little risk of these fractures turning into a long term injury if Romo were to play tomorrow and take another direct shot to the same area. The Cowboys aren't stupid enough to even let Romo entertain the thought of playing if there was that risk. I'm no doctor, but I've heard this sounds a lot worse than it is.

That was against the giants on MNF right?

No, he hurt a knee getting tackled in the end zone on a Hail Mary.

James Washington then had a classic moment during the scrum that followed, where he grabbed a film camera/pedestal, and swung it at Giant players. In the locker room at halftime, Barry Switzer said to him, "What we're you going to do James, line em all up and take a picture?"

Harper hurt his back after James Washington laid him out on a hit in practice.

have u lived in a bubble last two years. You realize multiple back surgeries don't make your back stronger. Talk to anyone who has had back surgery. And yes I work in heath care field

I agree, his back is messed up...but this particular injury is not as bad as a disk problem like he had with his surgery.

However, I don't know what he feels like, and I don't know if resting Romo a week, two weeks, three weeks, a month...how long does it take for those little bones to attach themselves back to his spine?

Additionally, if this was as serious as a "broken back" (stupid movie-lol), then I would assume that it would NOT be a game time decision.

he would have to play with so much supportive equipment to protect that area that his mobility would be limited. Romo is guy who relies on quick spins so I wouldn't even entertain playing him until he has 100% mobility back.
