and i don't blame him.

- Dak was 2nd in the NFL MVP voting ,...
- Look at the demanding QB market of today, ..
- look at the future NFL contract packages and growing NFL salary cap, ..
- and the next signed long term contract by Dak, is very likely his last NFL contract.
I agree.

Based on what?

Your feelings? Please provide data to back this statement up. Paying Dak more than any other QB in NFL history would mean we should have a bit more to show for it.... I accept Dak will get 50-55 million, but for people to think he is worth and deserves 60 Million plus is insane.
57 not 60.

Again, based on what? Market value and actual value are two different things. What makes his actual value = to the highest QB in NFL history? If you want to say Market value and reset the market and all the stuff is 57+ fine, I can accept that. But don't come with his actual value = highest paid QB of all time.

Based on what Tua and Love got. 60 looks too high because of the cap. 57 looks like a good fit because of supply and demand.

You are making his point for him …. that’s market value.

IF he signs before the season......I truly think this is close to his numbers $57-58M. Just think they will meet somewhere in the middle $55-60M

True value is zero to the cowboys as he hasn’t played well enough to be a winner. He got his big payday and it didn’t work out. Peace, go tell another team your value. Rockport, American cowboy, kjj, and the rest of his followers have fun telling the new forum his worth.

Looks like they will have to. I can't see both sides letting in play out any further. It isn't worth it to keep it going. He can't get more than 60. 57 makes sense for both sides.

I mean maybe explain why you made it lol….
People are blaming the front office for everything. I was making a point that the front office could have offered both players RIDICULOUS money and the players turned it down... we have no idea. BUT, even if the team offered stupid, exaggerated money like I stated and the players turned it down, people in here would still be saying our FO are incompetent. I thought my point was pretty obvious with the stupid figures I put in there.

Fish on Jerry's offer to Dak

It's Fish, so......

Dallas Cowboys Contract Offer to Dak Prescott Revealed: Near $55 Million Per Year?

That 55 million makes him tied with JOE BURROW!!! Give me a freaking break. And I hope the team leaked this offer so everyone can now call out Dak for being the greedy guy he is. That is a more then fair offer and Dak should have ran to the table to sign it.

It's not a Dak thing, it's a QB market thing. I actually like Dak more than most fans here. But QB salaries are out of whack.
That's where I am too, and have been for a while.
But that they're even making real offers to Dak surprises me. They refused to do anything useful in free agency, but now they're going to sign Dak to an extension?
So they're going to sign Dak to huge money, but waste a year of that contract leaving big holes on the team?
Winning seems even more irrelevant to Jerry than I thought.
