What a odd question. Like at the spoint in time who even thinks about Garrett? He's gone. Moved on. I Forget he's even in NY at times. I have a hard time thinking a real Cowboy fan even thinks about him at this point when we have McCarthy now. If McCarthy goes on to go 0-16 then maybe I can see it but as of now? I don't see it.
It's a bit tricky to me.
I have to admit Garrett could get this team to win spectacularly.
Take our last game of the season against the Skins. We were still contending and just milled them.
We could have gotten lucky and made the playoffs that day but Philly would not help us.
Before that we lost to Philly with a miserable game against them.
The week before that, we obliterated our opponent and looked ready to run the table.
I want to blame Garrett all the way but logic said "no".
The players have to take a larger share because they are being paid, too. They did not perform. They play the game.
They have to beat the man across from them every week. Not Garrett.
So some fans are not clear yet what has happened.
This is not like when Campo left. It was really clear he was temporary.
Garrett? Not so much.
