Here's another interesting thought.....a lot of guys favored trading a preseason game for a 17th regular season game.
But when it came time for that 17th game, a lot of guys wanted to treat that 17th game like a preseason game.
Hmmm. :rolleyes::rolleyes:

12-5!! Go Cowboys!

Now that the game has been played I thought it would be good to see how everyone feels about the Cowboys playing their starters against the Eagles.

Yessirie, dear leader, I am glad all the available talent played.

I am particularly glad that no injuries were suffered.
Blimey, this hindsight thing is superb, simply superb!

I wasn't happy before the game, but since no one got hurt, I'm glad we did. I don't feel we needed the reps. Since there was a good chance we'd be playing Arizona in the WC, I don't think we pulled out all the stops to beat them in week 16. It was a plain vanilla offense as Chris Simms pointed out.

So before the game it was a pretty even split but now everybody's happy they did.

The team thinks for them.

Yes, but I would have pulled them all at the half.
I like that they get to enter the playoffs feeling good.
I don't like treating any of the final run as pre season...covind-19 effects were already in strong view. Dak Prescott didn't play a full game any way...

There needs to be an emotional level return on intense physical risking that satisfies a team rewarding sacrifice. Dallas got just that and jelled at the level taking yet another franchise step back to playoff maturity!

Go Cowboys!
