I guess it's one way to handle it."Meh" wasn't available so I voted no.

That’s Daks MO. He basically does great against terrible teams.Tampa was a dog and the Niners not so much lol.....
Exactly! People who do not have opinions on a poll simply should not vote in it. As I have said, there is nothing wrong with that.I always thought polls were for trying to find the truth of things, or at least the truth of what people think. Keeping that opinion out reduces that truth.
Defining things in only back or white.
I guess we see it differently and that is okay. Guess I won't participate then.
The same poll opened soon after the 2021 playoff loss ended with over 80% 'no likey Dak' result.I am shocked at how close this is. Dak may not be an elite QB, there are very, very few of those in the world. But IMHO, he's pretty good and we can definitely win with him at the helm. I think we'd have a very hard time finding a better player than Dak Prescott, that's actually obtainable.
I remember it being just the opposite. Dak got eviscerated in the last poll, on the heels of the PO loss.My take from this is the amount of support he has lost over the last couple of years. I'm pretty sure the no-votes were in the 20-30% range 2 years ago, now it's almost 50%.
I didn't see this post until after I had already posted my opinion on the topic so It had nothing to do with your challenge. But as you see, in my response, I don't support Dak returning as our starting QB. He's too careless with the football. He needs to compete for his job like the rest of the team does at training camp. Give Cooper Rush an honest opportunity to win the starting job. Good point. Coach Landry made it competitive with Morton and Staubach. Jimmy Johnson made it competitive when he drafted Aikman and then turned around and drafted Walsh.
Cooper Rush has no shot at beating out Dak. We had virtually no passing offense with him. Our offense was ranked in the mid-20s during the five games he played. We won games with our defense and kicker. CeeDee was a disappointment with Rush. Once Dak returned we became the highest scoring offense in the league and CeeDee started producing, looking like a number one receiver.I didn't see this post until after I had already posted my opinion on the topic so It had nothing to do with your challenge. If you would like to spend time going back to look be my guest.
Does he when all he has is Lamb? we dont know that to be fact, his current group of WR's is HEADS and SHOULDERS above what weapons we had in that playoff game..now that is a fact.Cowboys defense did more than enough to win that game. Joe Burrow under center wins that game because he's good enough to make up for the deficiencies in the run game/OL... He picks up the slack by picking up the passing game,,, savvy?
You know WENTZ wasn't the QB who led the Eagles to a SB................. LOL!you know wentz has a superbowl ring
Can't go back that far in my posts on my phone. Maybe my computer but I'm outta town right now. Dak wanted too much money and hadn't produced well enough outside of pounding the NFC east teams. You made the claim so you provide the post where you wanted to draft Hurts. I saw no one on this board wanting to draft him three years ago. It made absolutely no sense to draft him, Dak was playing great football and we were negotiating a contract extension with him. Dak missed five games last season and still threw more TDs than Hurts. Cowboy fans would never be happy with Hurts with the numbers he puts up.
But i do have a firm opinion about it. You've just made it so i cant share it.Exactly! People who do not have opinions on a poll simply should not vote in it. As I have said, there is nothing wrong with that.
If I see a poll asking if the Detroit Lions will win their division this year, I am not sure so I would not vote in the poll.
If I added easy out options like "I'm not sure" or "Maybe" or "I don't want to be wrong so I pick this option", a majority of people would select those even if they were leaning one way because they want to avoid being wrong.
As I have always said, you can vote or not vote in the CZ Polls, but either way you can share your opinions and thoughts in the CZ Poll threads.
The CZ Polls though are designed to gauge the opinions of fans who actually have opinions on the topic and want to share them.
I will probably post another Dak poll during the season and perhaps by then you will have formed an opinion on him or at least started leaning in a direction enough to vote then.
No. Better play design and scheme would’ve helped. How many 2nd and longs did we start drives with? How many 3rd and longs did Dak get us out of. Dak is not perfect, but what QB is.THIS season hasn't started so I won't answer the poll. Last season the answer is no, better play from the QB position and the team would have had a legit chance to at least be in the Superbowl.
some of these guys would start Cooper Rush over Dak.. they literally just dont want to see Dak no matter how he plays.No. Better play design and scheme would’ve helped. How many 2nd and longs did we start drives with? How many 3rd and longs did Dak get us out of. Dak is not perfect, but what QB is.
You can most definitely share your opinions .. in this thread or any thread on the site! But i do have a firm opinion about it. You've just made it so i cant share it.
You are worried about intellectual dishonesty....on a cz poll? So it would be okay to randomly pick one, but "unsure" should never be an option?
I dont get it....but....your poll.
Oh yes they are/were. A big part of the reason.I don't think we should be completely happy with any quarterback until that player leads a team to the Super Bowl. That being said, Prescott, or Romo before him, is not the reason we haven't reached a Super Bowl, so I'm not going to hold the team's failure against him.
So my vote is a wishy-washy maybe because I don't blame Prescott's for all the team's failures. I blame the front office.
but he was part of their success that season until his injury. they did talk about him as an MVP.... he put them in position to make a run.You know WENTZ wasn't the QB who led the Eagles to a SB................. LOL!
