Have the mods discussed the possibility of a Dak mega thread?

I think for the overall health of the board, putting it all in one place would be beneficial.

All of these threads end up with the same arguments. Typically a dozen times in the same thread.

Right now, there are TEN Dak threads on the front page.

An even better idea would be a QB sub forum where all Dak threads could live. That way we wouldn’t be bombarded by it every time we hit the Fan Zone.

i bet you if he got all 17 starts we would be 7-10 at best, sorry overrating rush is ridiculous to even try that scenario..
Im not "overrating" rush im stating a fact.
You.... on tbe other hand... are making an assumption.
I aint saying yer wrong. Aint saying yer right.
I wonder if you were part of rather large crowd that demanded we tank the season when dak went out.

So you're making an assumption that he do better ??where does bringing up a hypothetical scenario in which we know this guy was not coveted by any other teams...

why is that if he was so good last year, they should look at his five in one record go breakdown the games and he should have got an offer as a starter or a backup somewhere else for more money..hmm
that's the point here we can go back and watch those games and he was less than stellar, the guy didn't play that well, he was overrated our team could not have played better during that five game stretch and yet he still nearly had seven turnovers. he had the offense cloe to bottom in the league in points scored, in 3rd down percentage redzone % , we punted a lot..

come on dude I'm trying to say that our assumption is probably better than yours that you think he can do better than that at least I said 7 and 10, that was better than five and 12.

no way, I didn't think we should tank, I don't even like the word tank, back in 2020, I'm glad we went four and one at the end of the year.. that's what real teams do, you fight to win every game..

man I don't care about the draft and the draft spots and the things we may or may not have lost... I am not a tank guy but let's stop talking about how Cooper rush saved our season, we could have probably played the Wildcat those five games and went four and one.

that's how great the run game, the healthy offensive line, the defense, the special teams, things were just clicking... you could not have had a better stretch of play from theTEAM.

Cooper rush was not even a bus driver, the dude was steering a bus on cruise control white knucking the wheel., the fact is Prescott would have won all those games the only one would have been a maybe would have been the Eagles game but he beats the Eagles a lot just like the rest of the NFC East. we can make an assumption that he might go 5 and 0 during those games not four and one.

so while we're all making assumptions,

I think the people saying he most likely would have a losing record if he was to start all 17 games is actually probably closer to people think that because he went four and one last year that somehow he has us at 11 and five or ten and seven even no way he is not that good it proves it that nobody has ever tried to sign this guy while he was on the practice squad exposed constantly he was cut by the giants, who at the time were desperate for a quarterback and ends up back here only and then after last year there was nobody that wanted him why do you think that is??

because the rest of the league as far as GM's go and coaches, they've looked at the film and go this guy is who we thought he was, an average backup.

I've been comparing Prescott to Josh Allen the last few years. The main difference is Allen's inclination to run when everyone is covered. If Dak can still do this, why doesn't he? He doesn't throw the ball away, he just scrambled around the pocket and eventually gets sacked or throws an INT. I WISH TO GOD he would use his feet more.

Now there was an honest answer and an honest vote.
A "no" vote apparently thinks there's a reasonable alternative QB instantly available. Either that or they just hate him so bad they can't stand the thought of voting yes.
Personally I'm on the fence about Dak, he's not as bad as some argue or we wouldn't have been 12-5 the last 2 regular seasons, but like the majority of QBs, neither is he elite.
If the team improves enough, we could go to the show, if they don't, we won't. But! with our most recent draft, I think things are looking up.
Lol....that isnt what a "no" means at all.
And you praised him for an "honest" answer when its a lie. So he can skew the results....infavor of your opinion apparently....
But someone who might say no because "there wasnt a better alternative"....must be deranged?

DDS is real.

You say that like you believe it. That's what being high on worshipping Dak does to you. Makes you completely delusional.
Every discussion with you leads to a flame war. Last time we had a disagreement you called me a mother fracker. Lol Let’s just agree to disagree and move on.

It's been said Stephen doesn't want him to run, not saying that's for sure accurate, but that's been rumored. If accurate, that says a lot.

But still, after his leg injury, seriously doubt he's still as fast as he was at the combine, he can run but not very well....

Dak is not a QB who can take this team to a super bowl. But dak lovers don't want to discusss this. If he was any good he would have taken the team to at least a CCG after 8 years. The usual excuses in the first 4 years were that the defense is bad. No that the defense has been very good , Dak's parade of excuses are running stale .
And for those who say what are the options better than dak. i say , dak and the FO have put this team with very few options with the cap space and the heavy investment in dak. the cards have been dealt. For jerry and the FO, it is dak or bust in the next 2-3 years. For the cowboy fans who have waited 27 freaking years for a SB win , that is a very somber reality.

It's more that he made good decisions, throws seemed crisp, etc. Just why he can't do that more often?
I'd have to rewatch to answer that. For the moment, I stand by my "it was a bad team". SO what does that mean?

They can't play defense
They can't play offense.

Sorta makes it easier on the QB.

For me...he doesn;t HAVE to run "very well". But if he sees an opportunity...roll out and right on to the sideline for a 2 and 5. Just a couple times a game.

Guess you're one of those guys who dated an ugly girlfriend (even though your friends insisted you could do better) but were scared of being alone and kept the pouch longer than you should have..
Well, bud we can do better much better in fact as Prescott's bar is really low (as Rush proved), and in life without risk glory days will never find you.
Wonder how the Chiefs, Bills, Bolts, Eagles, etc found their QB?
THE DRAFT......is it 100% guaranteed....NO...but you gotta be in it to win it, baby!!!!!

me thinks your dak hate makes you embelish on the truth. Truth is both QBs has their warts but both QBs have had situations that made it hard to acheive the pinnacle of success. But youre a hater with Humor and much easier to accept
naw he's like garrett, time to move.

Can't wait for somebody to say, "who are we gong to get to win nothing with like daks have done. I'm waiting." smh.

I'm sensing some ballot harvesting shenanigans from Rockport.

Make sure all those members are alive.
It’s more likely that the people who check in five times a day already voted.

Now, folks who only hit the site a couple of times a week are voting.

I seem to recall a certain “likes harvester” claiming the poll should be closed after a few hours when the numbers were more in line with his own personal sentiments.

Just sayin’, it goes both ways.

Fanatic is the basis of fan, right?

There are far better options than a guy like Dak that is careless with the ball. Cooper Rush for instance. At least allow the QBs to compete rather than allowing Dak to go uncontested every training camp.
How you doing these days Joe?
