Im not "overrating" rush im stating a fact.
You.... on tbe other hand... are making an assumption.
I aint saying yer wrong. Aint saying yer right.
I wonder if you were part of rather large crowd that demanded we tank the season when dak went out.
So you're making an assumption that he do better ??where does bringing up a hypothetical scenario in which we know this guy was not coveted by any other teams...
why is that if he was so good last year, they should look at his five in one record go breakdown the games and he should have got an offer as a starter or a backup somewhere else for more money..hmm
that's the point here we can go back and watch those games and he was less than stellar, the guy didn't play that well, he was overrated our team could not have played better during that five game stretch and yet he still nearly had seven turnovers. he had the offense cloe to bottom in the league in points scored, in 3rd down percentage redzone % , we punted a lot..
come on dude I'm trying to say that our assumption is probably better than yours that you think he can do better than that at least I said 7 and 10, that was better than five and 12.
no way, I didn't think we should tank, I don't even like the word tank, back in 2020, I'm glad we went four and one at the end of the year.. that's what real teams do, you fight to win every game..
man I don't care about the draft and the draft spots and the things we may or may not have lost... I am not a tank guy but let's stop talking about how Cooper rush saved our season, we could have probably played the Wildcat those five games and went four and one.
that's how great the run game, the healthy offensive line, the defense, the special teams, things were just clicking... you could not have had a better stretch of play from theTEAM.
Cooper rush was not even a bus driver, the dude was steering a bus on cruise control white knucking the wheel., the fact is Prescott would have won all those games the only one would have been a maybe would have been the Eagles game but he beats the Eagles a lot just like the rest of the NFC East. we can make an assumption that he might go 5 and 0 during those games not four and one.
so while we're all making assumptions,
I think the people saying he most likely would have a losing record if he was to start all 17 games is actually probably closer to people think that because he went four and one last year that somehow he has us at 11 and five or ten and seven even no way he is not that good it proves it that nobody has ever tried to sign this guy while he was on the practice squad exposed constantly he was cut by the giants, who at the time were desperate for a quarterback and ends up back here only and then after last year there was nobody that wanted him why do you think that is??
because the rest of the league as far as GM's go and coaches, they've looked at the film and go this guy is who we thought he was, an average backup.
