Perhaps you should find a team with fans you like better, or even better stop creating straw men and beating those up. Some of that crap you claim is ridiculous, and is just a reflection of your own inability to cope with disagreements about opinions of a player.
But it’s not. Did you read the numerous posts and comments from people claiming they would rather have Cooper Rush over Dak?

Or the ones who seriously propose that we draft a QB every two or three years and make them the starter because “anything but Dak” and hoping we strike gold?

A better solution would be to find a message board that isn’t so poisonous. We have to be constantly reminded not to make individual personal attacks on one another.

The issue is that this is the big board, like it or not, and there are a large number of instransigient old school posters here whose fandom is either locked in to one of the two dynastic teams or whose personal fan identity is wrapped up into disliking the current owner.

Hard to have reasonable discussions with people who never moved on from 1995

My take from this is the amount of support he has lost over the last couple of years. I'm pretty sure the no-votes were in the 20-30% range 2 years ago, now it's almost 50%.
He hasn’t had 70% support since his third year as starter, if that.

As soon as the possibility of him receiving a non-rookie deal came up, his detractors came out of the woodwork.

Some of those fans don’t want *any* QB to receive a top ten deal unless they are, in fact, a top 3 QB. They simply don’t understand how the market works.

So you thought we had a shot coming in and when we were about to take the lead at the end of the first half you "knew" it was over? Makes sense...

and who are these "you guys" you think I'm a part of. That's a bizarre out of left field comment
Yea 3 points. We ended up with 6 whole points the rest of the game. The offense played awful and excuse me if I didn't buckle down and say now we got this. The only reason we were in that game was because of the defense and they were getting tired the second half because the offense couldn't sustain drives. When Diggs missed that interception I wasn't even that upset because it didn't matter. Unless the defense scored a TD we had no chance. I think I even posted about that after the game. Thank God our FG kicker decided to show up and kick FGs at least. He actually was our offensive MVP. and that sucks. But I stayed and watched the whole game. I had to see how bad it was going to get. And you guys are people that have a problem with others who don't agree with them...who question the fandom of others because it doesn't go with what they think. It's the popular thing to say on the board anymore.

Who cares this is some forum Prescott doesn't even know about I'm guessing of what those fans think of him it doesn't matter his coaches and teammates his owner and GM they appreciate him so some way way down the list of forums about the Cowboys give him only a 55% positive rating what does it matter what is somehow the haters love that 45% feel the way they do how does it matter in the grand scheme of things it matters not nothing guarantee the stadium will still be filled Prescott will still get cheered because the people who go to the games are typically cowboy fans who are going to support all the players on the field once the clock starts.

You think there fans here believe that if they vote no they're unhappy they're somehow press gotta lose his job and have to give his money back  :lmao::facepalm:

45 no surprise the haters have their claws out but Dak still wins this very very very unofficial poll. hes the starter and the coaches and teammates appreciate him.
Barely a majority and you are boasting?

Probably does not occur to you that when nearly half the people who respond say you are full of it that just maybe you are?

Dak is better than an average QB and the fans cares about the team wouldn’t want to risk taking the chance of moving on from him and ending up with a worse option. If you look around the league many teams are dissatisfied with their QB situation. Three of the first four picks in this year‘s draft were QBs. No guarantees any one of those QBs turn out to be the answer their teams are looking for. You sound like one of those fans that think great QBs grow on trees.
Risk what, choking in the playoffs, going nowhere again. Great QB’s don’t grow on tree’s it the only fact you have right, but Dak types do. Notice no QB’s were drafted by Jerry in recent drafts and the backup is trash. Can’t upset Dak with honest competition, god forbid the problems Jerry would have with the backup out performing Dak, Jerry paid top price so no competition is allowed it wouldn’t be a good look for Jerry and another of his mistakes.

Going nowhere is missing the playoffs every year, with nothing to look forward to but a top 10 pick in April. That’s what you risk by moving on from Dak and replacing him with a lesser QB. We drafted a couple of QBs in recent years, Mike White, and Ben DiNucci and neither panned out. QBs that are leading their teams to back to back 12-5 seasons aren’t having to compete for their jobs. Despite Dak’s flaws he’s still one of the better QBs in the league and all the QB rankings that keep being posted prove it. You’re just one of those who thinks great QBs grow on trees. You simply move on from the QB you have. replace them with someone else and problem solved. Lol

Guess you're one of those guys who dated an ugly girlfriend (even though your friends insisted you could do better) but were scared of being alone and kept the pouch longer than you should have..
Well, bud we can do better much better in fact as Prescott's bar is really low (as Rush proved), and in life without risk glory days will never find you.
Wonder how the Chiefs, Bills, Bolts, Eagles, etc found their QB?
THE DRAFT......is it 100% guaranteed....NO...but you gotta be in it to win it, baby!!!!!

Why don’t you stop pretending to be a Cowboys fan and go find something better to do than look for attention here. You don’t show up after the Cowboys win. You were nowhere to be found after the win over Tampa in the playoffs. You’re NOT a Cowboys fan! Why you’re allowed to continue this agenda is beyond me.

#4 bring all that out on his own.
So it’s entirely his fault that we can’t advance far in the playoffs? How far did we get with Romo? There would be some real bellyaching on this board if we had a lesser QB than the one we have. It’s obvious there’s a lot of fans on this board that never experienced what the Cowboys went through in the early 2000s.

I’m not ecstatic he’s the QB but he’s the best chance we got (slim chance with him as starter to win a championship, IMO).

I blame it on the FO for not making the QB room competitive or at least draft an early to mid round QB to develop. There is no good backup plan if Dak goes down again.

I only voted yes because there was no good alternative.
Now there was an honest answer and an honest vote.
A "no" vote apparently thinks there's a reasonable alternative QB instantly available. Either that or they just hate him so bad they can't stand the thought of voting yes.
Personally I'm on the fence about Dak, he's not as bad as some argue or we wouldn't have been 12-5 the last 2 regular seasons, but like the majority of QBs, neither is he elite.
If the team improves enough, we could go to the show, if they don't, we won't. But! with our most recent draft, I think things are looking up.

Cooper Rush has no shot at beating out Dak. We had virtually no passing offense with him. Our offense was ranked in the mid-20s during the five games he played. We won games with our defense and kicker. CeeDee was a disappointment with Rush. Once Dak returned we became the highest scoring offense in the league and CeeDee started producing, looking like a number one receiver.
That's an exaggerated re-telling of what actually happened but I have no doubt that's what you recall. This happens because the mind has a desperate need to justify your unreasonable support of Dak Prescott that doesn't take care of the ball. I bet you can't even admit his carelessness exists.

The silent majority is winning no matter how vocal the minority is.
