We CAN win with him but that would involve building an incredible roster around him.
This is only possible if you are actually paying him appropriately. You are not putting this incredible roster around him without a massive influx of money to attract the top Free Agents to stack the defense and offense. Which means that Dak will need to be taking 5 million a year and then use the rest to build the next Baltimore Ravens defense. Only way you are going to win with this guy. You can't pay him like a franchise talent for backup qb level play.

I will be posting polls like this after big wins an big losses to gauge how everyone is feeling about various aspects of the team.

As always, I do not provide "easy out" options in CZ Polls because that defeats the purpose of the polls.

Not every poll is for everyone so if you do not like the options, do not vote and instead post your opinions as a reply.
Truth is I was a Dak supporter until this last game with SF. Not any more. When I saw how accurate and instinctive a young Brock Purdy was it just solidified to me that Dak isn't the QB to take us back to a SB. At some point you have to make some plays and he didn't. Say what you want but a healthy young Romo would have had us back in the SB with the surrounding talent that Dak has.

The FO needs to move on from Dak but instead, they are trying to figure out how to give him a contract extension.
That is because the contract will have a massive cap hit if they cut him next year. Jerry makes dumb decisions and it hurts the whole team.

Jerry is stuck, either pay Dak lots next year, or try to extend him with a new contract, so really a lose/lose for the team.

It's interesting the media is saying McCarthy "benched Dak" because he sucked. I would argue he just wanted to keep him from getting injured so they can resume the status quo. It's going to be a long painful season.

Dak will probably be the QB for the rest of the season. Just not a lot of options that would work long term. Need to draft a QB and quite a few good ones will be available. Nix, Pennix, Williams to name a few. For now establishing a steady running game to minimize passing. Go with more play action and run some screens for quick easy yardage. Utilize the O Line while they're healthy.

I wouldn't be too sure of that.

This kne is different than the one took issue with. We actually have facts, stats, and eyes on....to make a solid decision. This isnt guess work or speculation.
Having said that, i respect your firm clear method.

Dak is in his 8th year as the starting QB for the Cowboys. One would think that with that much time he would've become among the elite QB's in the league. Instead, he's inaccurate, slow (to the point of being the new 'Leadfoot Bledsoe') and late on too many of his throws.
What the Cowboys should do right now (and they won't) is make a deal with the worst team in the NFL for their 1st round pick and take the best QB available.

Mostly I am not happy with how the roster is built and a large portion of this is the amount the QB is paid vs his skillset.

96%. I've never seen a poll go this far to one side.
MM and Jerry must be the only 2 in America to either not see this problem or think for some reason after all these years of sucking he still may change. Start Rush
Possibly many are just voting no out of frustration of the butt whipping. However Dak has done nothing to give fans any reason to want to keep him as well.

Maybe season ticket holders, as I know it is much easer said than done.
Next year refuse to pay their PSL's (if they still owe money on them) or at least refuse to pay for the season ticket package. As by that time they get the bill, they may know if Dak has another contract by then.

What is Jerry going to do, sue 80,000 fans.

I know, it is like the old joke take out a billboard, or equivalent to stop buying merchandise. But if started now, it could grow some wings.
