If you can't find better now, how are you gonna find better then? You wanna tank a few seasons until we draft someone who may or may not be the guy, then maybe tank a few more seasons?

I'd rather play the best QB available, and try to surround him with a good enough team to make up for any shortcomings he may have.
Aikman to Romo. That span should stick in people's heads a little longer because those were actual hard times.

We’re not even looking for better now. We’ve tied ourself to the loser.

Thats the problem Dak brings.

You can’t surround this loser with enough talent to carry him. He will do what he always does. Fail.
We just picked up a 1st round pick. He may not be better, but that's what the front office is hoping for. Personally, I think it's not a bad way to try. We've all seen that drafting a "sure thing" isn't always a "sure thing", so might as well try to salvage someone else's, as long as we have the best one available already playing.

If he never gets the chance to see the field it doesn’t matter.

Look how much you care what others think.

Your "95% are on my side!" victory lap was hilariously sad, and now you don't even have that.

You have absolutely nothing... but you're used to that, aren't you?

The concept is: Dak is good enough to get you to the playoffs, but not to go deep into the playoffs. If you don't at least try your luck, you are never going to progress beyond that.

It's really funny when the defense and special teams make some plays and put some points on the board all of a sudden Dak is a pretty good player.

Hard to explain why people feel a fourth round draft pick that we didn't even really want is supposed to elevate the whole team when other parts don't do their job.

It's amazing all week long you watch receivers on other teams make contested one-handed catches and all of a sudden we have somebody that does that instead of dropping balls that are right to him and we win the game.

Dak is very capable of winning games with some help from his friends as should always be the case but he struggles when asked to put the s on his chest and make up for everyone shortcomings

He is no longer a 4th round pick, he is a franchise qb and is being compensated as one of the best in the league. Jerry must have felt that he can elevate the team, otherwise why the huge contract?

Just because Jerry felt like he could do it and paid him like he could do it doesn't mean he's actually able to do it.

He was drafted in the fourth round and gave us very good value .

But expecting him to be Troy or Roger is a bridge too far he needs help to be successful the more the better

I voted yes this time. and no the last time. The reason is because Dak seemed to play a little different coming off the bye. Maybe it was just more prep time, or that the Rams secondary wasn't good, but Dak seemed to read the field like I have neve seen him do to well in the past few weeks. And some of his passes were just great. I just have to hope that he can keep this up, especially against the Eagles this week.

It's not just about Dak being good enough to go deep in the playoffs it's been the entire team. I have seen our offensive line being overwhelmed against highly competitive teams with stout defenses, the run defense being obliterated and the secondary being left in the dust post season after post season. Now our quality of player depth has increased and maybe we will go further into the post season barring injury or inferior game planning. The best quarterbacks in the league that go deep in the post season also have the best supporting cast compared to good but not great teams with winning records.

this FACT is lost on many. They look at Daks paycheck and think that he needs to make up for those deficiencies or they look at Mahomes or Burrow and think Dak should be that good. well hes not and hell never be them but if those other parts step up to the plate hes good enough.

I do hope he runs more the rest of the year. My concern coming into the season and it hasnt changed is not dak its the Oline and how they protect him and run block. followed by the run D which looks better this year. Tall task this weekend in Philly. By 5:30 on sunday i suspect this poll will look much different if things dont go well.

This is an emotional fanbase

Sad how fans get duped like they did in recent seasons with the Cowboys beating on two bad teams with the defense dominating to set up both games has now propelled Prescott back up an an elite/top 5 QB in some people's minds. It's hilarious. It just means that the front office is another step closer to giving Prescott something like a $260 million 5 year contract with $140 million fully guaranteed - i.e., the end of the franchise for another 6-7 years.

I’m voting No before the game because a win or a great game wont change my mind. If he can get us deep into playoffs THEN I might reconsider.

Yes... even more actually. Murray, Burrow, Herbert, Allen...nothing special like what you people think.
Kyle Murray doesn't belong on any list that includes
Joe Burrow, Justin Herbert and Josh Allen.
Just sayin'.

Yup, and for the record he was excellent this past Sunday and that was without a decent running game, to his credit.
shabazz---total agreement...elite "ice in the veins" QB plays best brighter the lights....saw it Staubach and Aikman.....i loved Tony too...not sure he had the teams

Staubach and Aikman had....plus they now say Dez "caught it" 2014 at Green Bay...but we had very suspect defense...could they have held Rogers who was

gimping from calf injury???...they had not prior to that??...Dak has to put the Screws to Sheagles this week...or same ol story...but i voted I like Dak cause i do

Perhaps the poll maker should adjust the title to show the intent. Simply add the words "...this week".

For me, I'm taking the question in the traditional meaning.
I will vote 'no' until he reaches to a higher level. I will pull for him each week. Celebrate every win. Question every loss. Analyze each play and expect success.

But happiness, in pro sports, is to be successful.
"Are you happy...?"
mr Robo--- for Admin to do another poll if we like Dak or not just shows...we are the Dweebs....have one good game now much higher percentage love dak

have bad game...it goes down....us fans truth be told are a Qwerky bunch....but since no one listens to us and we dont get paid...we are allowed to have wide

range of opinions and they can fluctuate...when we win we think our life not so bad...when we lose....our life is H e double toothicks....its actually "SAD"...but

it is what it is....see you on Sunday
