Exactly! He did look good against the Chargers and even better again the Rams but I am being cautiously optimistic here. Let's see what happens this Sunday when the Cowboys need for him to make a play against a top 5 team in a hostile environment. I hope he proves me and all his critics wrong this Sunday night and going forward. We saw Dak play at an elite level at times last year. We saw him play great against TB and then he was awful against SF. He's an up and down QB. He's slightly above average. He has to show up in the playoffs. That's the true test.
yep, to them dak could suck the rest of the year and next year and it would always be somebody else's fault. smhSpoken like someone with a non-football agenda.
TOTAL BS.
The vast majority would LOVE to see that.
so the past 8 years isn’t enough for ya?I'll hold my vote until after the Eagles game.
They need to stop doing this poll.I guess last week Big Mike's offense didn't suck? I guess when you win stuff doesn't suck. The next game we lose I don't want to hear any Big Mike crying again.
8 years in and 1 regular season game in November changes your mind?I'm still on the "no" side, but he could change my mind against the Eagles.
He's been playing very well the last two games, since he started using his legs more. If he keeps it going, it might sway me. I'm not saying I'll consider him elite, just that I'll be satisfied for the time being.8 years in and 1 regular season game in November changes your mind?
If a couple games sways you enough to forget 8 years then you need higher expectations. He's been playing very well the last two games, since he started using his legs more. He's had a lot of very good games over his career. The problem I've had with him is his inconsistency. If he can play against the Eagles on par with the way he's played the last couple, then it'll show that he may have realized that his legs are a bigger part of his game than he wanted them to be, and it'll make him a more complete QB.If a couple games sways you enough to forget 8 years then you need higher expectations.

I guess we'll find out after that happens, or doesn't.lol ok
And if he sucks then what? Wait until the next couple good games from him and the revisit if you wanna keep him or not?
I don’t care if it’s anyone better or not.I guess we'll find out after that happens, or doesn't.
I'm perfectly willing to sign someone better, who you got in mind? (Realistically, not some hyperbolic "anyone" comment.)
If you can't find better now, how are you gonna find better then? You wanna tank a few seasons until we draft someone who may or may not be the guy, then maybe tank a few more seasons?I don’t care if it’s anyone better or not.
Sign Fitzpatrick for all I care. Start Rush or Lance.
Anybody but Dak because Dak is the loser you get stuck with. Rush, Lance, or Fitzpatrick can be the losers that make you actively look for better.
We’re not even looking for better now. We’ve tied ourself to the loser. If you can't find better now, how are you gonna find better then? You wanna tank a few seasons until we draft someone who may or may not be the guy, then maybe tank a few more seasons?
I'd rather play the best QB available, and try to surround him with a good enough team to make up for any shortcomings he may have.
Why would eagle fans vote NoGetting closer…
I guess once the Eagles fans swarm the site in the next few days it will tilt more towards “no” again.
Maybe time to revisit the Dak vs Wentz discussion?
