That article lost me when they said Chip Kelly's eagles will have the last laugh. They have nothing. I fear the Giants more.

It is totally stupid to be predicting playoffs in freaking April before the draft is even held.

Is it possible Dallas does not make the playoffs? Yes, of course its possible, especially if we actually think McFadden is the "secret sauce".

But lets see what happens with Adrian Peterson, lets see where Gurley and Gordon go, lets see how many games Hardy is suspended, lets see if this oline can continue to dominate, ect................................then we can order the tombstone.

Article flawed in so many ways, how do I count thee. Many assumptions being asserted as fact. The Cowboys are the real deal and the writer is apparently a denier of this fact and would have us believe the drivel in this article. The give away is when the Chipster in philly is given way too much credit for turning the iggles in the right direction before they've played a single game.

Like.
And apparently given us no credit for turning in the right direction with proof out the ying yang.
That's alright. As someone once said, "that's why they play the game".

Nobody should make predictions until at least after the draft.

If the author knew a single thing about our team, they'd realize that our success hinges on our defense and not our running game.

But hey, journalism...
May I add, if the author knew a second thing about our team, our running game hings on our O-line. I think they were pretty decent "if I do say so myself, if I do say so myself ... hold up."

That's alright, I'm predicting beta-male author Marc Sessler won't be hitting paydirt with his old lady all season.

Glad the article told me now, whew! I hope more and more articles come out like last year and say we're going 6-10 again. That was fun. The deafening silence was even more fun when we just kept winning.

I also clicked on the article expecting the DeMarco Murray stuff to be the reason why. Wasn't disappointed.

I can't believe there's all this consternation over a running back, LOL.

Yeah, anybody who thinks he's going to come anywhere near what he did with us last year ... it's further evidence of the dumbing down of America.

I mean, have they taken the time to look at the previous 3 years of our offense? I guess that's too much like right. Let me mention the defense in those 3 years that kept giving up the lead for those people who will jump in and say "we gave up on the running game" (insert wine and cheese).

Good..I'm glad we are getting underrated going into the season from all of these supposed "Sports Gurus" again. I would hate to be overrated like the Eagles and Colts are right now.

Also, can't they keep their narrative consistent for once? All last year it was the Offensive line that was keeping Romo upright with "8 pockets" pockets and blowing holes large enough that "any running back" can skip through, to now we are losing our offensive potency just because Murray left. And according to them, a rookie RB can't come in and have immediate success? Yeah...thanks, handyman. <makes waving action>

My prediction is that only if we we pick up AP or Gurley (neither of which will probably happen), we will go into the season with the media underrating us to an 8-8/9-7 record, losing the division to the Eagles and missing out on the Wild Card game. Good...I want to see them eat crow again.
I love your post except for the AP part.

I'm on the record for NOT wanting him on the team (for obvious and personal reasons),
But the more I read people coveting him the more it hearkens back to the days when Jerry tried to buy championships by getting the biggest names available on the team. We should be past that by now. We've already signed one big name (woman beater). I want Jason and Stephen to keep building a young solid foundation that will be here for 3 to five years at a time.

If by "revamped" he means committing nearly $60 million in contracts to his backfield (not including the QB position), have a QB made of glass lead his team for a FULL SEASON while throwing to a non-existant WR core...then yeah, I guess they're "revamped"!?! LMBO!!!
LMBO:laugh:

I mean I don't think anyone who feels that way is an idiot. It's a reasonable argument.

I don't agree with it, but it's still reasonable.

I meant to type "unless" and not "only if" in that post (puts my point backwards) but can't edit it now. My feelings are, unless we pick up AP or Gurley (basically an RB that the media can't spin to be worse than Murray), then they will keep riding the narrative that our run game is over because we let Murray walk. During the season, our O-line was the cause of our run game. Now that Murray is gone, HE is suddenly the reason. It's all BS and I can't wait until the first game of the season when Joe-Bob RB goes pounding the rock for 100+ yards to shut them up. Until then, business as usual for Cowboy fans (AKA we get pooped on in the off-season).

The easiest topic to sell clicks is to talk about how bad the Cowboys are/will be doing.

Lazy.

What a stupid article. We are only on his list to add up page clicks.

Anyway I don't see how anybody could think the Eagles are headed in the right direction. They had smaller, quick and fast players to run their fast paced no huddle offense. Now they have gotten rid of all those players and replaced them with slow, bruising type players.

Regardless if you think the players they've accumulated are good or not, they don't fit chip Kelly's offense or scheme at ALL.

Can anybody visualize Demarco Murray hurrying up and running play after play after play with the style in which he runs? I sure can't

I guess the author did not realize that DMac is 6 months younger then Murray.

What does age have to do with the fact that Darren McFadden has been a completely inferior player to DeMarco Murray? And, that McFadden, statistically, has been a poor player the past few seasons? McFadden does not appear to be an ascending player, hence the declining comment.
