Actually, that was Pat Watkins - a fifth round rookie.(you know, from the draft :p:) We're hoping he improves. Fortunately, we have several contingency plans there.

so i guess bledsoes 3 ints and 0 td's had nothing to do with the loss:rolleyes:

but when you all are sitting in the same place as us in January, then whats the story going to be for you?

You all arn't going anywhere fast. Although that win over the texans looked good(hell, it even let mark brunell look good), you all are in trouble with bledsoe at the helm. He single handedly threw the game away against Philly. And this is the guy you all are holding hope for for the rest of the season?

This is what I think! :skins:

This is what the Commanders fans do (what your doing here) :cry2:

This is what the Commanders do :jackpot: Spend money :mouse: Then run in circles getting no where fast.

Music to my ears! :moonbart:

Considering they scored a total of 3 points off Bledsoe's turnovers until the final seconds, i would say that had less to do with the loss than Watkins 21 surrendered points and McBriar's turnover resulting in a TD.

But you think whatever you want to. It takes a hell of a team to still be in a game where they spot the opposition 28 points like that to a team like the Eagles.

you say that with such confidence. While it's still a question mark on what the 'boys are able to do this season, there is none for the Skins. :p:

The issues with Bledsoe at the helm are well-documented on this board. There's only a couple folks who blindly put all their faith in him.

As far as Philly, it was what it was...there was a lot of blame to be passed around in that game. Bledsoe is not the only culprit.

im not counting out washington yet. its too early

I always count them out. They have (3) Superbowls yet only one of them was actually earned. Not only do I count them out I double down everytime it's time for them to actually do something big.

but I guess more 3 int performances wont hurt you down the road? Maybe next time you wont be so lucky.

Its easy to lay blame on a rookie, cause of course you can say, "oh well, we know he will get better". but whats the excise for bledsoes play?

you see BBD, what the whole world doesnt seem to know about the Commanders, is that in the 80's, they magically went out and somehow bought super bowl trohpies, and now display them in their trohpy cases. If you check the stats of the super bowls from back then, you will find that the skins in fact didnt even play. How the media never caught this is shocking to me, but of course the only people that noticed are these damn cowboys fans. Way to ruin our fun

How is somebody with Mark Brunell at the helm qualified to say anything about another team's quarterback?

We weren't lucky. We still lost the game.

The point, since it is obvious I need to spell this out for you, is that the 2006 Dallas Cowboys are so freaking good that they are nearly able to overcome 3 INTs from Bledsoe, and terrible FS play resulting in 21 points, AND McBriar muffing a snap resulting in a TD.

They are that good. It only takes a slight improvement for those mistakes to turn around into blowouts. I know being a Skins fan, you're a little unfamiliar with teams showing promise, but hopefully you can figure this concept out. ;)

They won during strike shortened season that even had replacement players!

1982 Superbowl Champion Commanders

1987 Superbowl Champion Commanders

Can you say TAINTED SUPERBOWLS WINS!!!

:lmao2: One was a season which was shortened a whole 2 GAMES!!! and the other one we still beat the cowboys in the NFC champ game.

Garuntee if your boys would have won, there would be absolutly no griping here about it

Commanders are losers. Not other way to put it. I'm not sorry for you for being a fan as you made that choice. I would offer you the chance to become a Cowboys fan, but you like (2) of the Commanders superbowls are tainted by being a Commander fan. ;) :p: :choke:

the point isnt that you lost hte game, but that maybe next time, the team will actually capitalize on those mistakes.

You can keep blaming a helpless safety for the loss, because hell, its convienient right? But I seriously doubt that he will develop enough in one season to not cause a liability.

You all have a good team, but I would call them "so freaking good". O-line is still suspect, FS is a mess, and most importantly, the QB is gawd awful.

But keep hoping, because hell, isnt that what football is about.

I'm sure you hope so.

But it's been what?

2 years and has he even been active yet?

Seems similar to Dallas' situation with Romo - a big unknown.

I won't condemn him, but I sure won't annoint him either.

But another loss and the team may as well see what they have (or haven't) got in Campbell.

Brunell looks like he's shot to me.....
