As of right now in the NFL is Tony Romo a Top Five qb?

If Romo could only be as good as Eli and BradyQuinn....

Oh that's right, he's just a "more mobile Bulger" without TO. That comment and the Quinn delusions really give your QB opinions boatloads of credibility.

I always put guys in tiers.

Manning and Brady are on a tier all of their own. They are all-timers already.

Depending on where you draw the line, I think Romo is on the second or third tier. He's easily one of the 10 best QBs, and he's probably right in there with the top 5-6.

My own personal ranking goes like this:
1. Manning, Brady.
2. Brees, Roethlisberger, Favre, Romo, Rivers
3. Rogers, Warner, Manning

After reading this, this makes probably the most sense out of any post here.

Drew Brees wants a word with you.

So the fact Drew Brees has also thrown more picks and has more fumbles than Romo are no big deal? Heck Romo throws a pick and the board goes nuts

And then come late december and HOPEFULLY into early January when half this board is jumping off the Romo express (again), I will be right.... (again)

And people wounder why others question them being fans? :laugh2: Post like this is the reason why. It appears Tony Romo failure is what is important to McCordsville that way his own prediction is right even if it comes at the expense of the team.

Nope. Not even top 10.

Laughable.

I can see how Manning, Brees, Brady, Roethlisberger and Rivers can be considered ahead of Romo. Favre also qualifies because he is probably playing the best he has since he won his only Super Bowl. But Kurt Warner? He's capable of a poor performance just as easily, if not more, than Romo is at any given time. Eli Manning was doing well, but since his foot injury, he's mediocre. Palmer? Perhaps, but that is a push at best, same as Rodgers.

I don't think Romo is a top five lock, but to come up with ten names, and disqualify him from that echelon is simply foolish. I am far from waving a flag for Romo, but let's keep the debate sane.

There, and in terms of all time career passer rating for the NFL, but, yeah. Just those two places.

Nice.:) Little details like that seem to be ignored by some.

Career QB rating. 94.5

95 TD's in about 50 starts. Not bad.

Only when it doesn't fit their agenda or support their ill informed opinion.

The nay sayers so badly want to shew away this inconvient FACT!

They prefer to rate QB's on wins alone.........OH wait Romo has one of the best winning % in football since 2006.

I will always root for the team first over my distaste for TT. I used "hopefully" because I hope we make the make the playoffs.

I just dont see us beating the Saints or Vikings in their house. And with previous history as a reference, I wouldn't consider a wild card game or wild card victory as a sure thing either.

Our secondary isn't good enough to hang with Cardinals. Steve Breaston will make Orlando look like a fifth round pick and Fitz WILL just will himself over any DB we have. I remember 4.65 Boldin runnig right by Anthony Henry too so dont forget about him. And dont forget Kaptain Kurt is a lock HOF.

I just dont think we can hang. TT is waiting to strike in a big game still.

Book it.....

That really depends on the team as much as it does Tony. Does not change the fact that the post comes off as being more concerned with being right then the team doing good. I really don't get you, you slobber over Quinn yet rake Romo over the coals.

That doesn't make a lick of sense. Wait a minute. I could be wrong. Let me check.

HELLLLO? ANTHONY HEEEEENRY! WHERE ARE YOUUUU? ARE YOU STILL WITH THE TEAM?

wut? What did you say, Terence? "Henry's no longer with the team"? Do tell. Some guy was worried about Boldin possibly blowing by him in the playoffs. Yeah, yeah hilarious. Thanks for the info!

Sorry about that. Nope. Still doesn't make a lick of sense.

Just curious, where do you rate your own QB? 30 or 31. Russell has the last spot secured.

Haha. Like I've said before, I'm not a homer. I know Campbell's terrible; I've not said otherwise. He's better than Henne, Smith, Russell, Vince Young, and that's all I'd say right now. He's terrible, I know.

Well, at least you appear to be a realist. Kudos for your honesty.
