no kidding.

Anyone here think that say Jim Haurbaugh doesnt come in here with this team and almost go undefeated? I do. JG sucks. Plain as day.

Without Romo and Dez and against the same schedule? That seems like a stretch, imo.

Cowboys really need to look in the mirror. Romo hides a ton of weaknesses with this team but this 6 game stretch has shown the roster was not at super bowl level as is. They are still way too sloppy.

I am sure if we had Romo we would have won more than we lost so far. Although seeing the rest of the roster perform without him, I would think it is a mistake to think him being out is our only problem.

we are plenty good. if we just had a quarterback who could give a little bit more, like romo does, our defense would not be as gassed at the end of the game, and we would win a few.

I never wrote that garret didnt deserve blame. I wrote that you all who think this is solely on garret are wrong. This Roster isnt as good as it was. Either garret is trash, and last year was all on Romo, Demarco, Dez, or not having Romo, Demarco, and Dez most of the games this year is the reason we are 2 - 6 this year. You cant suggest that this roster is improved this year, its completely asinine.

Last year was on Romo, Murray , Dez and the OL. I don't think this team has much depth at all.

I think your missing my point. Drew Brees, Brady, Carson Palmer. All those guys are Romo's age and they haven't fallen into the old folks home yet. They have really protected the quarterbacks the last few years. Romo can continue to play at a high level for a while. 35 today isn't the 35 of 20 years ago.

Obviously losing Romo has been killer.

On defense, the secondary is a bottom 10 secondary. The LB corp, which most of us had VERY high hopes for, is average at best. McClain had a grand total of 3 tackles today. The defensive line is probably average overall.
Four, if you count the KO of Lee.

A lot of players suck here, only to leave for other teams and flourish. Austin and Murray can't break into the starting lineup until an injury shows how much better they were than the starters. Harris made plays for the offense, yet hardly ever saw the field, now he is a real threat for the Giants offense. This team was satisfied with our safeties and backup QB from last year, we see scrubs from off the street playing better than what we have. We have a coach that doesn't recognize these things and that is precisely why this team "just-isn't-good-enough".

If you want to blame the owner/GM, fine...Either JG agrees with all of their moves or we don't have a coach that will stand up to the owner/GM. The worst thought is that JG recommended all of these moves and the Owner/GM went along with them. Whatever poison you pick, JG is lurking there somewhere in that bottle.

This is nonsense, Miles Austin was a starter before Garret became head coach, and Demarco Murray was drafted by Garret. Harris only sees the field for the giants because of injuries and while he was with the cowboys he wasnt as effective as Cole, and the cowboys would be ridiculous to match the money offered to Harris while trying to resign Demarco at the time.

Well if last year was all Romo, Dez, Murray, then the roster is worse than it was last year because we dont have those players and its the primary reason we are 2 - 6

Tony Romo is a far cry from Tom Brady.

No he's not.

Replace Romo with Brady in New England and they probably have five rings.

Brady has had the luxury of having the greatest coach of this era. We saw it first hand how difficult that offense is to stop and not just because of Brady. The pick plays, the different formations, different personnel packages, they make you defend every inch of the football field, and they don't ask their players to win one on one match ups consistently like Dallas does.. Not to mention Bellicheck actually makes adjustments.

How about Sam Bradford? Just can't win those close games either, eh?

It was not a good loss (not that there are any of those to be had).

Somehow you're arguing that this loss indicates that it's easy to win close games against teams with superior qb play?

Elaborate. Or do you just want to complain and be snarky?

Funny how Tomlin trots out 3rd stringers at QB since Big Ben is made of glass these days and the Steelers still win...........Good coaches find a way, don't lose 6 in a row.

Tomlin > Garrett

The Steelers got to play those games with 2 of their 3 best offensive skill players available on offense.

We were missing Tony and Dez for the 2/3rds of this losing streak.

We were also missing two of our best defenders for the first two games of this losing streak.

But by all means let's ignore reality to take a shot at this coach and staff. The same coach and staff that people raved about this offseason.

People are fickle. It's embarrassing.

Every team doesnt have injuries at these key positions though bruh

And even when they do, they don't lose six in a row, bro.

I mean, the Steelers found a way to win some. Even the Colts got a couple with Matt Hasselbeck.

We've had Dez for the past two games, and moved the ball quite well the previous game. We've had those defenders, most of whom have been underwhelming, for the past four games. At what point do you expect at least a Dave Campo-esque one win every three or four games?

Even worse, JG was the OC since 2007 and Romo called his breakout year (Not JG). Austin didn't "breakout" until 2009 and then only because of an injury to Roy Williams.

Harris has as many receiving TDs in NY in half a season (this year) as he did in 4 seasons with Dallas. He was totally under utilized, yet produced whenever called upon. Demarco Murray likewise wasn't given a start until Jones got hurt, then was over utilized last year, just like DMac will be this year. I didn't hear JG out there shouting that Randle can't be my starting RB either. JG is a puppet with no real football sense.
