Barber xrays negative....per mickey *Merge*

How fast does it take to heal from something like that....does he sit for a few weeks or do they wrap it up and he toughs it out....what does this mean???

Felix and Rashard may have to carry the load for a while.

I don't know much about this, is it common for players to play with a rib cartilage injury? Is it some thing that lingers all season?

I'm no expert but I would think it possibly could linger for a while..It would have to be painful breathing etc.

I know Brian Westbrook played with bruised ribs for a chunk of either last season or the one before...

I played for several months with a rib cartilage injury.

Then again, I played Dungeons and Dragons so...

:laugh1:

wow i just thought they took him out because we were kickin butt

Just keep in mind Mickey is an idiot when it comes to crap like this, he doesn't know any more than we know.

Why all the hate?

He's with the team and I'm pretty sure his sources are reliable.

If you could evade Dragons, then ...

I am sure Barber can evade would-be tacklers.

:laugh2:

I guess we should tomorrow just how serious or non serious it really is but right now it's scaring the crap out of me.

With Philly coming up next week, let's hope that Barber is ready to play. Having an extra day of rest will help a little, but we do need his hard-nose running out there, especially against the Eagles.

They will shoot him up with some pain killers localized

kevwun is right: he landed super hard on that somersault for a first down. What a player: hope he's ok. But I think he landed on the ball.............

He seems to be going aerial a lot lately, since that preseason game...
