Winston threw 7 pick-6’s last year?!

Ouch! No wonder he was released.

Winston literally set the single-season pick six record and we have deranged morons saying he's the franchise savior because he throws deep a lot (on blind duck-and-chucks to opposing DBs.)

Tampa has a mostly great roster and a quality head coach that was killed by Winston's picks and fumbles. It's why Tom Brady decided to go there.

They were #5 in defensive DVOA but Winston gave away the ball so much that it made the D look bad.

They have two legit Pro Bowl WRs, a good TE (OJ Howard) and a really solid #3 with Perriman. Their OL is underrated, Winston mostly ate sacks because he held on the ball to long when he wasn't giving the ball to the other team or fumbling.
No they do not have a great roster, and they certainly have not had a great roster the entire time he has been there. He was the number one pick that went to a 2-14 team... the cognitive dissonance required by Dak slobberers to prop up Dak is frighteningly stupid. Literally no QB in the history of the NFL has started their career off with a better offensive roster for their first four years than Dak Prescott.

He also had 30 TDs and 5000 yards, which seems to be heroic milestones for Dak slobberers, and acting like every interception he threw was on him shows ignorance.
If Winston had 30 interceptions, then I conclude Dak would have 40 outside of his perfect cocoon of All-Pros.

C'mon dude......although I disagree with your take on Dak, I still respect you as a poster. If this comparison was ANY other QB in the league regarding interceptions but Winston. Most average fans know interceptions have been an issue with him dating back his freshman year in college. Always been his achilles heel. This from a poster who was a huge fan of his coming out who thought he'd cleaned up in the NFL but for whatever reason he hasn't. Trust me, I live in the area code. I know the Bucs GM and coaches have done everything possible to help him overcome his interception issues. I know you have little or no respect for Dak, I get that ( to each his own to me) but this is basic football whether it's Dak or whoever.

When you wonder about the IQ level some people on this board have in this sport...these posts here clear the air
A bit unfair of a comment being it's a family forum and one never knows how old a poster is.

Lol...it is dumb context like this that exposed Dak Hater's :lmao:

Closer look at the "perfect cocoon of All-Pros"

2016 - Zach , Tyron, Frederick, Zeke and oops yep Dak :(:lmao2:

2017 - Zero Zilch Denada 0 All Pro Cocoon

2018 - Zach Martin SINGLE All Pro Cocoon

2019 - Zach Martin SINGLE All Pro Cocoon

@Super_Kazuya I know you don't like Dak but do you have to make things up? Or is social distancing diminishing your comparative skills

The Saints are loaded and don't actually need him to do very much.

The Cowboys probably need their QB to actually make plays and not dink-dunk at a rate that makes Prescott look like Staubach.
Bridgewater was also a front runner. He played well when the team had the lead. He did not play well when the team was behind. All of his TD passes last year occurred when the Saints were already leading. Over half of them occurred when the Saints were winning by 9+ points.

And you nailed it. If people hated the Dak and Dunk then they would lose their mind with Bridgewater.

I don’t think the Bucs lack THAT much talent. There’s only so much a team can do to look good when your qb turns the ball over 35 times (30 interceptions, 5 fumbles) The bucs could have definitely won more games if Winston was smarter with the football.

Dak was not an All-Pro in 2016.

Now be sure to count them up for Winston, troll...

Bridgewater has never been anything but a short-arm specialist made of glass.

I get not liking Dak for whatever reason or thinking he's going to cost too much, but LMAO at some of the alternatives you rubes pull out because you heard their name on ESPN once.

When Tampa was on Hard Knocks, the primary coaching for Winston was to eliminate his boneheaded decisions. He wasn't able to do it.

Exactly.......the Arian goal was to cut his number of interceptions in half. He thought if he could that, they'd have a shot at the postseason and guess what, he was right. Winston interceptions cost them a min 3-4 games which would have had them right there as a wildcard.

It's fairly obvious that you've never watched any Tampa games.

No matter how many times you keep repeating "Dak Slobberers" you still look like a child

I mean that will answer the question won't it? If the Bucs go 6-10 this year, no one will be able to find you hiding under your troll rock. Don't act like you have any kind of guts to make a definitive statement on the matter.

Going simply on stats, would you say these 2 QB's are very similar based on their first 4 years in the league:

QB #1

1,922 attempts 1,183 completions 62% Comp % 14,628 Yards 88 TD's 58 Int's 189 rushes 794 Yards 9 TD's

QB #2

2,071 Attempts 1,363 Completions 65.8% Comp. % 15,778 Yards 97 TD's 36 Int's 241 rushes 1,221 yards 21 TD's

In my opinion solely looking at stats (keeping in mind QB #1 had a very bad 5th year and those stats aren't factored into this) these 2 QB's stats are very similar.

QB #1 is about to be released and QB #2 is looking for $35+M/year in a new contract.

QB #1 is Jameis Winston

QB #2 is Dak Prescott
you bet, int's and rushing td's are so close...

QB #2 is obviously much better than QB #1. You on drugs or something?

LOL what a ridiculous comparison

And the biggest difference between the two is between the ears and Dak's natural leadership qualities.

Could you imagine Dak head butting another player? Or sucking his fingers attempting to hype his teammates?

Based on stats alone the players aren’t really close.

Based on intangibles the players also aren’t close at all.

Jameis has incredible physical talent. He can throw beautiful passes. Sadly, he is a grade A knucklehead who turns the ball over a ton and is a poor leader. Those things kill a team
.

Nailed it.......

His interception rate is high, but he was 2nd in the league in TD passes. I get that you can't have that many turnovers but to act like Winston couldn't cut his turnovers in half if he was standing in a clean pocket with a pro bowl caliber back and asked to be a game manager who doesn't need to throw 33 TD passes... sorry I don't see it.
Keep in mind that the same people on here laughing about this would have also laughed about Tannehill vs Dak at this exact same time last year. Then Tannehill switched teams and obliterated Dak with the fourth highest passer rating and eight highest yards per attempt in NFL history... who's laughing now?

Ummm Dummy!! Dak was an All-Pro in 2016..the PFWA All Rookie team is logically by default the best All-Pro Rookies. Do you know what PFWA means or has Dak Hate completely absorbed your brain.

The only player who has been First Team All-Pro on the Cowboys since 2016 has been Zach Martin 2016, 2018 and 2019.

This myth that Dak had a All-Pro Cocoon is a myth created in your mind to lessen Dak's abilities and production.

Dak Hater's are too easy...
