I think TCU would have put up a heck of a game with Auburn.

I don't know that Auburn wouldn't have beaten them as well though. I'm okay with this years matchup.

Well TCU at least will get into the Big East and Boise State has tried to get in a bigger conference and they been shut out because they are a small school it is all about TV and total # of almuni when you have a small fan base you are screwed

Yeah The Big East is part of it all. At least TCU will have much more competition thrown at them weekly in the BE. I got no issue if they run the table next year being in the NC game.

Saying it and doing it is completely different. New conference and tougher schedule. We'll see.

Well obviously a playoff system would be awesome, I'm rooting for one myself, but the system the BCS has right now for determining ranking is accurate and fair, no matter people want to complain about it.

What they should do is take the current system and use it for setting up a bracket style playoff.

Any team would do that. It's human nature when the positives are with you to just ride it out.
