I love how you use a 45-year-old Tom Brady in his last season to make a point. Anyone who watched that season knew Tom was done physically and was mentally halfway out the door with his business decisions. He was a shell of who he was and should have retired a year earlier. Living here in Tampa I can tell you it was pretty much all the local sports reporters were talking about all year. Many thought the team would have done better with a decent Free Agent QB. By the way, that team still made the playoffs and has made it both seasons after he left.

Not saying Bill is not a great coach, but what kind of complete teams did he assemble his last 4 seasons in New England (especially while spending a still NFL record $163 million on free agents in 2021)? Given that he will not have that luxury here, I will wait for an answer to that question.
Mustve had a poor GM

Here at least he would have JJ

Really, outside of 8 Superbowls, what can he(BB) really point to of his accomplishments?
LOL yeah what a bum !
Jerry should have hired him last off season. Dallas would have been in the playoffs again for sure.
It would be a huge story if jerry hired bill, and that may be the problem, is it would upstage jerry, and BB might get more attention,
and more credit if they went to a SB.

Bill Belichick. UNSIGNED!
Dallas Cowboys. HEAD COACHLESS!
Jerry Jones. COACH PENNY PINCHER MULTI-BILLIONAIRE!
What will happen next? STAY TUNED!
apparently, if you believe the interwebs, primetime has also changed his mind in some way, and he's holding off on signing his new deal, and he still says he would be very interested if offered the job..HMMM

I'm hearing mixed rumors and that's why it's all rumors this is the Internet it's inaccurate more than it's accurate when it comes to these things they're trying to blow up Dallas Cowboys stories and add drama to this process.

i have very little faith that any of this is truly accurate....

He assembled THREE COMPLETE TEAMS around Brady. What did Brady do his last year with the Bucs? NOTHING.
No matter who the QB is, he has to have a complete team around him and a high grade coach.
I appreciate the answer as my post did ask for it. Aside from what I feel about the main reason for their success, his age precludes him. We need to move on to something fresher. No more retreads so no to Norv Turners of the coaching world.

I will say this too - NO to Kellen Moore. We need a coach that will take control of the team and stand up as that leader regardless of the player and their position. I know I know Jerry is still owner but I am just stating what this team needs if they want to be taken seriously

How many super bowls did Landry win without Roger?

Jimmy without Troy?

I know people try to dunk on BB for what happened after Brady but the dude did win 6 super bowls as head coach and 2 as a DC.
Well I will give ya that. Maybe I am a tad hard on him but his age to me say absolutely no by itself so…. I will be consistent and say that I don’t want any old/retreads really.
and no to Kellen Moore as well

On BB and UNC, this is old news.

I'm giving it less than a 50% chance that BB actually coaches UNC. But hey, it was a GREAT news story for the college!

BB would stay here about 3 years BUT maybe, just MAYBE he can change the culture here for a time. Not sure this would equate to wins and a post season run, but he might be the short term answer.
