Why don't Cowboys fans realize that just because they want someone, or Jerry wants someone or something, the other person or other team has to agree.

It doesn't matter what you or Jerry wants or does...the other person, BILL, didn't want to come here. It's not that hard to understand...but Cowboys fans everywhere just can't seem to grasp that concept

You're making an assumption just like everyone else. You don't know if the lack of interest is from Bill, Jerry or neither. I doubt Jerry is in a hurry to give any coach autonomy.

Haven't read the entire thread, BUT if UNC goes through with this deal with BB, heads will roll a couple of years later, almost guaranteed.

The AD of UNC let M Brown go by phone when the AD was in Hawaii because Mac would have stayed until they found someone. Totally did the man wrong.

BB getting up to 12 million a year with a guarantee that his defensive coach (son) at Washington is the next head coach?? BB never coached in college, is he going to to the work recruiting in state as he needs to do as a head coach? Even if he just has to close the deal, that's a lot of driving on his end. He sent 400 pages of a "gameplan" on what he wants to do and spend? This sounds like him asking for the world figuring UNC would say no anyways, and they actually may agree to everything?

This whole deal is beyond stupid. Don't know anyone personally who went to UNC, but know more than a couple of people that went to NC state. Their opinion is the same as mine, this is nothing but a publicity stunt.

If he does get hired it’s more proof what I’ve been saying that no one in the NFL is interested. He only got one interview last year by Atlanta.

Not. Belichick is only 14 wins from the NFL record. He is choosing what is good for him and not others.
If he wants to continue being a head coach the only choice he’s being given is college football. NFL teams are hiring younger head coaches.

This is true. I hope UNC doesn't make him an offer so he finds out the NFL doesn't want him.

I think he's choosing the job that was offered to him. He said he had not been contacted by NFL teams. If he'd wait, maybe that would change, but he doesn't want to wait.

NC State folks hate UNC more than they like themselves

He’s going to do exactly what he did to the jets. I fully expect him to take this job and bounce after several months. There is no way that if an NFL job comes open he wants to stay at the college level in coach.

he is also around 26 games or so from being the most winningest coach in NFL history. There’s no way he’s going to turn down NFL job if it becomes available

Jerry wouldn’t hire him. If Belichick thought he had a shot at an head coaching opening after this season, he would wait.
