Talks going good, offers being made, all others signed, predictions of a signing being made. A lot of smoke. So just a gut feeling?

What you hear and what is actually going on are two different things. Time is running out to get him extended. Once we set sail during the regular season, it’s very likely he will walk when he becomes a free agent. What we are hearing is that talks are going good and offers are being made.
I'll go with, they are signing him. I believe an offer is on the table and the reports are true. What you hear and what is actually going on are two different things. Show us the reports. Don't say go find them yourself, you provide them because I have not read anything really positive at all. Get on it...I'll go with, they are signing him. I believe an offer is on the table and the reports are true.
Show you? P. Walker just tweeted that Dak and Lamb both got new offers from the Cowboys.Show us the reports. Don't say go find them yourself, you provide them because I have not read anything really positive at all. Get on it...
Brandon Aubrey finished as the best kicker in the league.Putting your season on the line on a USFL kicker was stupid. Sometime stupidity gets rewarded. I don’t care about winning regular season games why do you keep mentioning this? Why don’t you mention how many playoff games they’ve won in that span?
Decision is still Dak's and not Jerry's.When the time comes I wouldn’t bet against Dak becoming the richest Cowboy player ever.
That probably isn’t a path to the Super Bowl, but it avoids the path to complete uncertainty.
And for all of his professional tolerance for ambiguity , Jethro isn’t starting from scratch at QB anytime soon.
Our dysfunctional ownerships insistence on remaining “ relative and interesting “ hedges on a playoff caliber Franchise QB regardless the implications thereof .
Oh, a tweet, well then that proves it. smdhShow you? P. Walker just tweeted that Dak and Lamb both got new offers from the Cowboys.
A tweet from Walker is a legit report. Are you saying that you don't believe it?Oh, a tweet, well then that proves it. smdh
To you, of course it is. Everything is hunky dory in your make believe world you live in.A tweet from Walker is a legit report. Are you saying that you don't believe it?
The "talks going good" line always cracks me up. What the heck does that even mean? Everyone's pronunciation is spot on? They aren't spitting all over each other? Talks can be called "going good" when the signatures start getting written out. Until then the talks are just going, and there probably isn't much talking going on beyond "here's our offer", "here is our counter offer".Talks going good, offers being made, all others signed, predictions of a signing being made. A lot of smoke.

Carry on, tweet boy.
The odds become slimmer he’ll be extended the longer this goes. We’ve just seen two huge QB contracts get signed the first week of training camp. If it’s going to happen with Dak, it’s got to happen soon. It’s really going to come down to whether he wants to stay in Dallas because if he goes to free agency, he’ll get a lot more money. They’re talking $65 million if he becomes a free agent. The Cowboys aren’t going to pay that much and they may not want to pay $60 million, so it’s going to come down to whether Dak wants to remain with the Cowboys. Jerry said during his presser this will be Dak’s decision. All the leverage is in his corner. I firmly believe the Cowboys want to extend him, because they have nothing behind him, but it’s going to come down to whether Dak will be willing to take less than what he could get in free agency. I’m not sure he will.I'll go with, they are signing him. I believe an offer is on the table and the reports are true.
I would love to know what you know. I would love nothing more than Dak having to play for his supper. Let him play out this year, and reevaluate after it's over. After we crash and burn, let some dumb GM pay him 60M a year or more. I just don't think that's going to happen. Why do you hate money?
That would be the most logical thing to do. Let Dak play out this year, if he does good, like really good, pay the dude, but if he sucks then let him hit the bricks.I would love to know what you know. I agree. At this point, what do you have to gain by paying him now? Let him play. That would be the most logical thing to do. Let Dak play out this year, if he does good, like really good, pay the dude, but if he sucks then let him hit the bricks.
It would be stupid to extend him for big money before the season starts and he comes out and craps the bed would be a bad move. But then again, we have our HOF GM in charge.
Drink up. Johnny Walker in the house.
Ck out the DMN today. We aren’t allowed to link it on this site.Show us the reports. Don't say go find them yourself, you provide them because I have not read anything really positive at all. Get on it...
Thanks friend, but I'm not that interested to read something until it's done, I have grass to watch grow.Ck out the DMN today. We aren’t allowed to link it on this site.
That’s if Jethro isn’t willing to pay Prescott what he wants . If 60 which I’ve heard mentioned is what we’re offering and he wants more then yea it’s his decision.Decision is still Dak's and not Jerry's.
This is the most common shariat in I’ve heard from local media. If a deal isn’t done by start of season, he’s gone .What you hear and what is actually going on are two different things. Time is running out to get him extended. Once we set sail during the regular season, it’s very likely he will walk when he becomes a free agent.
