oh great...somebody else that cant get over the fact that Q-Bongs was a drugged out, limited talent QB who was one of the most erratic players in the league

he sux so bad he cant get a job even as a 3rd QB on ANY NFL team...get over it already

David

Apparently he was consistent enough to help a team get to the playoffs, a feat that Bledsoe finds incredibly difficult. If you think a qb has limited talent that can get a team to the playoffs with the poor supporting cast we had in 2003, you're crazy. Carter was not the 'weakest link' on the 2003 team, but Bledsoe is clearly this year. Last year he lost 4 games by himself(Seattle,Oakland,Denver,Giants) and he was totally ineffective in the second Skins game and would have lost the second Eagles game, if Roy had not bailed him out. Bledsoe has lost 2 already this year and the season is only a 4th of the way over. Can you say, we're toast!!!

Carter got bashed for the same things Bledsoe is getting excuses for.....

Bellichek stated in not so plain terms that Drew had all the talent but wasnt smart enough to be successfull.

We heard.....we critized..... Carter for his lack of smarts...how the field was cut in half to make his reads easier.......and now there were reports that the same thing is needed for Bledsoe....go figure...but we still make excuses.

lets see...

Drew has a strong arm....but cant anticipate a route if his life depended on it...look at game tapes.....the man is already out of his cuts and waiting for Drew....always...

Drew locks on receivers and rarely goes to the 2nd or 3rd options....when its check down time.....its usually at the recievers feet or high

Drew has no pocket presence..........and no mobilty....and does hold on to the ball to long on occasions.

Drew makes rookie mistakes....and isnt a bus driver and cant manage the clock.....and did I say he is a vet

Now we hear....if he doesnt start.....he will retire.....hmmmm.......

I dont know.....if QC performed like Drew has in the last 10-14 games....he would of been roasted....by the media and the majority of fans on this forum.

JMHO

I just find it funny......

its all preferences.....and agenda's.......
Bledsoe isn't getting bashed on this forum?

You've got to be kidding.

When Carter failed the drug test (evidently more than once) he cut himself from this team. He goes to the Jets and ends up letting them down as well. If a team can't depend on you especially at QB a position that holds leadership role no team is going to take a chance on you. Thus far I'm not hearing any team showing any interest.

You're kidding right, Edwards himself said that the Jets would not have gotten to the playoffs without Quincy.

So please tell us why is Carter not with the Jets? in large part you think how he abondoned them late in the season may have had something to do with it? Yeah teams love that in a QB, will he show or not? will he continue to flunk drug test? Yeah I want that on my team. Put Carter jock down for a change no one in the NFL is willing to touch the guy not a single team but evidently your to blind to see this.

I would still rather have Bledsoe than Carter. I have never felt more hopeless and despondant as a Cowboys fan than when Quincy Carter was our QB. At least with Bledsoe you have some hope, and he conducts himself in a way that never makes you ashamed.

Those feelings of hopelessness with Carter was all in your mind cause we won with him. Those feelings about Bledsoe are also in your mind, we're losing with him.

Where? Where is BledStud getting bashed on this forum? Show me where? I cannot find one post where Bledsoe is getting bashed!

Show me! :blind:

:drunk:

:lmao:

If Quincy wouldnt have f'ed up with the using drugs then i would have taken Carter over Bledslow. at least Carter didnt fumble as much and didnt take the sacks that Bledslow did and he did help lead us to the playoffs with maybe the most pathetic running attack ever to make the playoffs. but since he let his teammates down then they both equally suck and would prefer neither.

I disagree...I was pretty damned ashamed of that last through along with many others against Philly and Jacksonville. A veteran QB making these types of mistakes. Yea, embarrassed is a word I'd use.

And maybe we all were despondant back in those years we had no talent anywhere. Can't blame all of that on Q. Talentwise those two teams don't match up at all. Drew has more help yet I feel more helpless.

You and me both.

Hey, Quincy, why did u get cut from the CFL? and are you still on drugs?

Un-freaking-real the persecution complex of Q fans.

Only time he shows up is after a bad game and goes on his Carter is great routine. What is funny is no team in the NFL or CFL wants him none! but somehow he is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Unfortunately Quincy likes the drugs. The man had talent but he couldn't keep his nose clean. If he could, he would have still been the starter in Dallas. You cannot Blame Parcells for Carter. I will admit that I would have preferred a clean drug free Carter over what Dallas has now. That isn't the case though.

Funny thing is there is no drug testing in the CFL which is why Ricky Williams went there and loves it or at least until he was injured. Carter can't even be given that excuse.

but he helped us get to the playoffs on crack. while drew can't sober with 2 of the best receivers in the league

That isn't why you have no credibility.

I was against Bledsoe from day one and everyone called me Carter lover, now, they can see for themselves that I was right about Bledsoe. I was right about our defense too. I've always thought that virtually everything that Parcells has done, personnell wise was wrong, except making Carter the starter and adding Terry Glenn and Julius Jones. I was right about Newman too, he's an okay player, but Rashean Mathis is better and we still can't rush the passer because we passed on Kevin Williams. The 3-4 is an okay defense, but it would be better to have solid pass rushing DT's rather LB's because they're closer to the line of scrimmage. Where is the lack of credibility there?

:lmao:

Good job, bigbadroy...that is the first step to recovery!

:laugh2:

You're called a Carter lover because you fabricate stuff to defend him even though he isn't a member of this team.
