In Philly they're attributing Romo getting the lead gig to white privilege.
That white boy Antonio Ramiro Romo.
If CBS has any sense of humor they will announce Dak Prescott as their new lead analyst sometime in the coming weeks.
LmaoI don't do tweets. But on another site there was some Bonnie Bernstein tweets hating on Romo jumping into the #1 slot with Nantz.
She sounded extremely butt hurt, calling it crap! Snowflake much?
This post Triggered me, and I'm now going to ignore any logic and call you a bunch of names because I don't agree with you.Apparently a feminist sports reporter with jealousy issues.

Did it ever dawn on Bonnie that maybe, just maybe, she got her first job for some other reason than she was an "outstanding broadcaster"?

yeah that is good point, I know I dont usually watch the cbs channel, it is afc, and sometimes I watch the texans play or tenn, or oakland,Will only get to hear him call a game when the Cowboys Play someone in the AFC.
Don't usually watch the AFC North games that is played in my area ad nauseum.
I'm sure CBS went through drills with Romo as if he was partaking in a live broadcast. I don't think it's like Bernstein is suggesting, that they are simply throwing Tony Romo to the wolves so to speak. They obviously think his experience and knowledge of the game as well as his intelligence and communication skills all make him capable of the job. I can understand her frustration because she's been working in the industry for years and it appears to her that some new guy who has no experience in the industry simply out of the blue got one of the most coveted jobs in all of sports broadcasting, but it's not like he came from out of nowhere. He's a well known personality.
I have always like bonnie. She is one of the few sideline reporters I can tolerate.
I do agree that Tony should not get the top spot yet. He should play the undercard for a year to get his feet wet. Then, he can take over for Phil.
Btw, now Fox and CBS have Cowboys as their top team for broadcasting......America's Team......
Tony is famous, that got him the job. She would never get that job, but maybe someday the job nantz has.I'm sure CBS went through drills with Romo as if he was partaking in a live broadcast.
