The first solution would be to fire the GM. I don’t even want to get into how many playoff games we have won since the last Superbowl in 95. We have switched coaches and players during that time but only 1 thing has remained constant. The man making the decisions. The GM. He just needs to hand over everything to Will McClay and then take his son Stephen on a 10 year cruise around the world on that big yacht he owns.

No doubt a certain level of success inherently carries a degree of ego.

However, some manage it better than others. It's my belief Jerry latches on to certain coaches/players, and refuses to change course because of ego.

Money is important, but it doesn't supercede his wanting to be proven right. He's still seeking credit for the 90s. He needs to orchestrate another championship for validation. IMO.
