So do they need that win to make it to the SEC Title game?
Is it at Mizzou?

Yea, they'll finish ahead of Georgia if they beat Arkansas. It's not really fair because they played one more conference game than Georgia (they'd be 7-2 and Georgia would be 6-2). So even though they have the same number of losses and Georgia won the head to head, Missouri would still win the division.

Mizzou is 6-1 in conference. If they win, they go 7-1 and win the division on the basis of having a better record than Georgia. If they lose, they go 6-2, which is tied with Georgia, and Georgia wins the division on head to head.

You're right. It must have been a typo. I was looking last week on ESPN.com and it said they were 7-1 with one more game to play. It confused me. Well, that settles it. I guess it is fair if they beat out Georgia then.

Disregard my last response. I was basing it off a typo on ESPN.com from a week ago. Missouri didn't play one more game than Georgia. They'd win the SEC East because they'd have a better record (7-1 vs 6-2).

key games Turkey Week
WOW! What a friggin week!!

BTW, I love this CFBP format with releases that let us know where teams stand in the eyes of the authority that matters.
Gives lots of meaning to games this entire second half the season.

5 TCU at Unranked Texas. 6:30 PM Turkey Day
Texas is better than its non-existent ranking. The kids have grown up a bit.

Unranked Stanford at 8 UCLA. 2:30 Friday.
UCLA is my overrated team of the week. Favored by only 5.5 at home against an unranked.

13 ASU versus 11 ARIZ 2:30 Friday
Should be a very good match up between ranked and rival teams. Big time bowl on the line.

15 Auburn at 1 Bama 6:45 Sat
Bama is overrated too but only a couple spots. Auburn has issues with defense. But this one will look a lot like last year IMHO. Last score wins.

Florida at 3 Florida State 2:30 Sat.
Florida is better than anyone else FSU has played IMHO. Plus its a rivalry. We'll see if FSU plays 4 quarters.

4 Miss St at 19 Ole Miss 2:30 Sat
Miss St is very overrated but they'll earn that ranking if they can win out. Ole Miss has the best QB Miss St will face this year. I smell upset.

16 Georgia Tech at 9 Georgia 11:00 Sat.
Early game to get you started. GT is too one dimensional but Georgia has defensive issues and can lull if you stop the run.

18 Minny at 14 WISC 2:30 Sat.
Fairly even squads. Whichever can complete passes more than 10 yards probably wins.

Handful of other games have meaning but arent as compelling to watch.
Missou vs ARK to see if SEC East can produce a team that has 3 or less losses before Bowl season.
Clemson versus SCar to see if the ACC can keep a 3rd team ranked.

MSU is way overrated. If they win and Alabama wins, there is a good chance MSU will have zero wins over ranked teams - but I'm not even all they confident they beat Ole Miss.

LSU
Texas AM
Auburn
Arkansas
Ole Miss (if they win)

those all would respectable wins, imo.
I mean, think all of those trams are as good or better than , say, Minnesota

TCU had an impressive win. It's up to Baylor to win out and hope they win over the judges.

If Stanford hangs on and beats UCLA, the winner of the Arizona and Arizona State game will play Oregon in the title game.

If Arkansas hangs on and beats Missouri, Georgia can play on the title game if they beat Georgia Tech tomorrow.

Big day of football.

Missouri has only played one team all season that is currently ranked in the Top 25 (Georgia) and they lost to them 34-0.

Mizzou is 14-2 in the SEC the past 2 seasons.

JonSolomonCBS: Missouri has 2 straight SEC East titles while beating 1 SEC team with a winning conference record (Georgia 2013).

Nice Rivalry wins for
(16) G Tech over (9) Georgia
(21) Clemson over S Carolina

Florida St is leading Florida at halftime.

K State and Baylor are winning as expected...though the Baylor score is close so far.

Upset alert in Oxford, Miss....but only halftime there too.

Big day of football.
TCU took are of business.
Somewhat similar to Ohio State also beating a fairly weak, but big name school.
Good job.

Fwiw, I think if Baylor wins out and especially if they beat K State by 10+, the head to head win will finally come into play vs TCU.

Big if though.
