It will takes them 100 years changing parts just to make Dak experiment work.
change all the players vs change one player which one is better for the team?

No.

But if he played for the Bears they’d still be picking 1st.
take a look at my comment above, centre is more important than you think. if Creed was on the bears, maybe they would be picking first but that doesn't mean they wouldn't be putting their QB into the best situation possible.

A 1st round pick should always be on an impact position. Center is not an impact position.
They aren't drafting a qb. They already got one by getting a first rounder with their 4th round pick. Jackson Powers-Johnson is a first round talent and presents good value at the back of the 1st round and would improve the team.

$5 bill, where you getting the coffee, Starbucks. You can get the same coffee at McDonalds for $1. Heck the entire starting OL can each have a cup.

Starbucks and McDonald's get their coffee beans from the same place.
Well I don't drink coffee but you are probably right. A lot of generic packages get filled at the same plants the name brand ones do

Any team that would look to re-sign a player at the low end of starting caliber deserves what they get.

Perhaps he is an upgrade for some teams and certainly some have no cap constraints but for us it's an easy decision to move on unless he has no market & it's so cheap it doesn't mean you are tied to him if you can find a better player.

so in other words the foundation does not matter; its all the shiny toys.
Jerry, is that you?
Have you been paying attention the past decade? We’ve constantly, including this year, have 3 All-Pro linemen playing.

It led to nothing.

I think that they are targeting Jackson Powers-Johnson and feel like they can get one of the other 2 centers if they miss out on him. This would improve the team and be cheaper than keeping Tyler B. .

A lot of the media folks were saying this as soon as the season ended. Apparently, Hoffman is their fallback plan at C if the draft and/or free agency doesn't want out.

With the nostalgic groove going on with Jerry, anyone know what Phil Costa or Cory Proctor doing now a days?

That would be admitting he's the running game problem. (I don't know he's the problem, but they do need to address the problem)
It’s was talked about extensively (good 2 minutes) during one of the games way back in November. Had absolutely nothing to do with the run game. It had everything to do with the team not wanting to drop the cap needed to resign him in a Center heavy draft!

My man this has nothing to do with Biadasz at all or reality.
1st, CWill got every penny of that 14M and is again a FA. But he was a benched player entering the market.
2nd, Biadasz isn't performing a position change.
He's a mid-level starter ranked 15th by PFF at the position. At 26-27 years old.
Hia valuation is 6-7M pr year on a 4-year deal with a little over half that number GTD.
BUT teams often surpass the valuations to get guys over the line and signed.
He could easily get 35 mil over 5 years with 20M guaranteed in this OL starved league.

With Bass in house, they can save 5M a year on an overpriced OLine.
Good stuff.

Imagine using a 1st round pick on a center.

Yup.

Centers really put teams over the hump, huh? Y’all remember Fredrick being a perineal all-pro and winning what? 1 Wild Card game in his career?

At the end of the first I’m not opposed to it at all. We’re gonna need to fix the OL regardless of who the QB is. If the overpaid one gets hurt it would be nice to have the backup focus on throwing the ball and not running for his life. Jmo.
