Again...do people think Nick or Marcel is equal to Suh?
I really don't think they are but I could be wrong.

The problem is everyone seems to be playing this defense and looking for the same players, so that is tough.

I'm pretty sure it helps to work on the technique of footwork and handplacement if you'e actually doing in practice what you would be doing in a game. You're not playing in a vaccuum in a game against stationary blocking sleds, you're playing against live bodies coliding. For the life of me I don't know wouldn't you practice in the conditions as well.

InmanRoshi;3788750 said:Maybe it's me, but it seemed like Leonard improved quite a bit under Garrett. I think he's the type of guy who would better served with Garrett's more physical, hard hitting practices in pads. He depends on his physicality, so naturally he needs to practice being physical and pushing people around to get ready for games. To just have him standing around during the week playing glorified flag football and then asking him to turn it on at gametime isn't going to work.
Colombo is toast, upgrading his spot has to be priority #1 before any other position on the OL.[/QUOTE This, I thought he got a little better also, everyone did, except Colombo, whose shot.

Really? Suh? Even Tyson Alaulu was thought to be a reach at 10 and had a rookie year worthy of a top ten pick. Sorry but I have to disagree. The defensive line is the most important part of your defense.theogt;3788679 said:Ugh. That's depressing. Defensive linemen are almost never worth top picks.
You forgot Montavious Stanley in the 6th in 2006 and Josh Brent in the supplemental 7th. But point well taken.InmanRoshi;3788866 said:Check the calender. It's not 2006 anymore. Jerry's been out chasing his "wow" players the last four years.
In the last 4 drafts combined we've spend a 3rd round pick on Hatcher, and a 7th round pick on Lissemore. I defy you to find another NFL franchise that has neglected the DL more in the last four years in the draft. How do you think you end up in a situation where 3 of your top 4 defensive ends aren't under contract for the following year?

InmanRoshi;3788847 said:Seymore wasn't a surefire Seymore type player in his own draft. He was horribly inconsistent at Georgia. There's no sure thing in the draft. I just know you can't go wrong with adding another difference maker in your defensive front. Especially when it's considered the strength this draft and we have 3 of our top 4 DEs on the current roster not under contract for next year and a the only remaining player as a JAG who the new coaching regime may not even want.

I would like to see how Muhammad Wilkerson does at the combine. He is someone who could shoot up the boards.Randy White;3788883 said:Tell me which DE in this draft that will be available at #9 is worth a 20+ million dollars signing bonus ?
The Cowboys could sign ALL three of the DEs that are not under contract ( not that they should ) for that amount, and have plenty of cash left over.
