The consensus number 1 player in a draft doesn't always go first for a variety of reasons.
Have you ever referred to a prospect who "slid" on draft day? I'm sure you have. That means you acknowledge that players don't always go when they "should" by conventional wisdom.
The rams on a team that has a lot of the pieces they need to contend, desperate for a qb, traded a king's ransom to get one of the top 2 qbs. This isn't shocking. We also know neither qb as a prospect rates as the best player in the draft. That is also not shocking.
So when you counter anyone stating that Ramsey/Tunsil are widely considered among the top prospect in the draft with....oh the Rams must be drafting up to get him...you're being either disingenuous or displaying gross ignorance.
Which is it?
