Broaddus is worthless, I have read very little from him that would even make me think he was an "insider" if I didn't follow the Cowboys.

And yes, he often takes temper tantrums on Twitter when a fan one ups him.

However, Broaddus often doesn't buy into hype. So this isn't surprising, and quite frankly, I'll probably agree with this stance. This Dak bandwagon is crazy, and I was one of the first here to come out and say Dak can be the real deal.

I just watched the podcast of today's show. Broadus was unreasonably argumentative with Derek Eagleton about Dak's performance. He even told Derek "you can get mad if you want to." All Derek was saying was that Dak has been impressive. Broadus kept interrupting him saying "look at the total body of work" (which Derek was IMO). Broadus kept saying that Dak has made mistakes in every game and Derek said that's true of 99% of all QBs. Broadus was being horribly unprofessional to the point where Nick and Taylor weren't their usual playful selves like they were trying to stay out of it. Derek kept drumming his fingers on the desk, but overall he handled it well. As the show went on, Broadus sat there with a sour look on his face, interjecting insightful comments now and then (I'll give him that). When the show ended, he hopped up immediately and walked out. He normally lingers for a little bit, at least longer than that.

In my opinion, Broadus is a short-tempered know-it-all, but today took the cake for me. I have no problem with heated conversation. It makes the show interesting. But I think it's time for Broadus to move on (or be let go) from The Break and stick to the draft shows or fantasy football type stuff. He is such a grump.

The only point Bryan was trying to make is that Dak, a rookie 4th round pick, has room to improve.

All he's saying is you ain't seen nothing yet.

But yeah, let's fire him instead.

I don't have a real issue with Broaddus. Though it does nettle me that he thinks his opinions are generally better than they are. Like the idea that Dak wasn't showing things in camp and sufdenly he's a preseason "gamer." I don't think so. You just missed it somehow. Players have repeatedly said Dak displayed what he's displayed from day one. The same thing goes for his McFadden fascination. There's just not all that much there.

The reality is, there's only so much you can know from the outside, and a lot gets lost if you're not in the locker room or in the huddle.
What is his McF fascination?

I've noticed he has never had Dak in the headline of his scouting reports.

I don't like this guy. He's a Scandrick guy. I have never been a Scandrick guy.

Jerry Jones hired him in 1990's, need I say more. And no team has hired him since.

I believe Jerry hired him to get him off the local espn shows.

He can say whatever he wants and he says some knowledgeable things. It's the way he says them that needs work.

Love what BB brings to the site. The rest of both shows are so vanilla except for Spags who is manure. Bryan brings it. Sometimes on point, other times not but he watches the films, prepares, and gives opinion including holding the coach and owner accountable unlike the others. They would be fools to let him go.

I will get blasted for this but I find Taylor's voice to be annoying. She sounds like a 12 year old trying hard to keep her voice from cracking.

Wow. Disappointing.

Nate entertains me most. Love his enthusiasm and vet perspective.

I actually like Bryan's film study analysis. I just often find him annoying.

Mickey thinks he's a movie star. The rest of us are paparazzi.

I've always hated Broaddus. He's the worst on twitter with one word answers and then gets pissed when people call him out on it, like he didn't make a twitter account to keep in touch with the fanbase. Idiot.

So, he was not fired, he resigned?

No in Dallas he was fired by Bill Parcells after the 2004 season and his position was filled by Brian Gaine (currently the director of player personnel in Houston)

I am saying I think he has said he chose not to pursue scouting jobs because of not wanting to travel.

I think he had a short lived job with TCU if I am not mistaken also.

This is Mickey Spagnola in a nutshell:

Jerry: "We feel Romo is the better QB!"
Mickey on the show: "Romo is the better QB. And Dak is just a good bus driver. How dare people think a 4th round rookie could even be mentioned in a same sentence as Romo!".

Next day:

Jerry : "After thinking it over, we feel Dak gives us best chance to win now."
Mickey on the show: "Dak is the MVP and Romo just doesn't have it anymore. Did you really think he could get us anywhere with his injury history? "
