:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: There’s a bunch that regularly post here are you kidding me? :lmao::lmao2::lmao2:
Approximately how many fellow CowboysZone members create critical and supportive posts/threads of the quarterback on a regular basis in your opinion? To be specific, it is the number of individuals creating the posts/threads and not their volume of posted comments. I ask to understand your definition of the word 'bunch' in this instance.

In 2016 and 2018 the Cowboys had the top rushing running back in the NFL and the team lost in the division round both years.

Over the last 29 years the Cowboys at times have had great offensive lines and no Super Bowls .. great rushing offenses and no Super Bowls .. great receiving offenses and no Super Bowls .. led the league in defensive turnovers and no Super Bowls.

At some point, it becomes laughable, if not desperate, to blame everyone and everything else.
You want to put things in perspective? In 2018….there are 4 rounds of playoffs right?

Guess who gave up the most rushing yards all playoffs long? They only played two playoff games and gave up 346 rushing yards more than anyone who even played 3 or 4 games.

They gave up 173 rushing yards a game.

When I say the trenches matter this is what I meant.

You can’t ignore the trenches. The physicality and toughness of your team comes from the trenches. Why do you think it’s been 28 years since we’ve last won? This ain’t a blame game. We can sit here and blame Dak for everything since 2016…..but what an out 2012? 2007? 2000? That’s Daks fault too? Do you ever wonder why Ravens and Steelers find themselves contending most years and getting punched in the mouth and punch back? Gotta wake up and get out of this Dak and Romo blame game. It’s bigger than them.

In 2016 the defense gave up over 400 yards. Dak had a 103.2 QB rating with 3 td’s and 1 int and over 300 yards passing and they lost 34-31.

In 2018 the Cowboys beat Seattle 24-21 in the Wild Card game. In the divisional round game against the Rams they repeatedly gashed the Cowboys run defense rushing for 273 yards. Dak had a passer rating of 99.2 with 1 TD 0 int’s and 266 passing yards. The run game gained 50 total yards.

Not really sure what your point was but it sounds like you’re saying the Cowboys should‘ve won those games be it not for Dak which is the furthest thing from the truth.

You have your gloves on for this thread....... (LOL, LOL )
The thing is I don't hate Dak and if he's the quarterback this season I will root for him to be successful as I have every season he's been here.

That said, after 8 years with Dak, I am ready to try something new. I think he's a really good quarterback, but he's just not one who can elevate a team and he has shown he cannot win the big games so far.

What he has done is win regular season games, but so did Cooper Rush, who I don't think is an NFL starting quarterback, when Dak got hurt.

The bottom line for me is that we have spent 8 years trying the same thing and it has not worked.

We have replaced the head coach, the offensive coordinator, the defensive coordinator, offensive players, defensive players, etc.

At some point, it's time to change the quarterback, especially if he has been unsuccessful in the post-season and will demand a large chunk of the salary cap to re-sign.

Let me be clear. There are a bunch of posters here who put ALL the blame on the QB of the Cowboys for not winning in the playoffs. And as a mod, you know this. If you want their names, let me know.

Wow. It’s all the QB’s fault. Unfathomable there are people who put all the blame for the Cowboys woes on 1 player. Just ridiculous. The QB isn’t the problem.

In 2022, the Chiefs beat the Eagles 38-35 in the Super Bowl.

The Chiefs had 340 yards total offense and their defense gave up 417 yards to the Eagles.

The difference? The quarterback elevated the team to a win.

Dak gets a ton of 4th quarter stats when the other team is playing soft defense to keep the clock running because the game is over.

Stats are nothing but participation trophies if you don't win the game.

There is zero need to supply names. An approximate number would suffice.

Jesus Christ…it always goes back to Mahomes….Jalen Hurts fumbled for a touchdown….you don’t mention that.

Where did I say that? Where in that post did I say it’s everyone else’s fault?
In that particular post you were blaming the defense, which is 11-15 players.

So you're right, not everyone else's fault, but the fault of 11-15 players.

Oh, so since I proved your facts were wrong in 2016 and 2018 you switch to 2022 and Mahomes to prove your point? Dak ain’t Mahomes. There’s no one in the league as good as Mahomes but even Mahomes couldn’t lead this team to the SB last year.

And you contradicted yourself on stats in the same post.

Stats are the only thing that Dak fans can argue about because for eight years that is all Dak has until he craps the bed when the big boys show up.

What is sad is how after all of these years, you still don't know what you're talking about.

Here. Try to refute these facts. Patrick Mahomes has been the king of DINK & DUNK the past 2 seasons...

Can't wait to see you try to spin your way around these facts. Let's see who knows what they are talking about?

Who CARES how he gets it done. He doesn't shrink and look like a scared little boy when the playoffs roll around. Your whole "he dink and dunked" his way to a ring argument to try and prop Dak's flop sweat playoff tape is pathetic.

You're right, but since Dak has lost in the post-season every time and never reached the NFCG, we know that Dak is not Mahomes so we should be trying to find someone who is better than what we have.

Hard to do that when the one you have is wanting 20-25% of your salary cap without leading the team anywhere near a Super Bowl.

Now, if Dak wants to play for $25 million, I am all for bringing him back and bringing in competition.

Once the quarterback tops 15% of the salary cap though, they better be reaching the Super Bowl and hopefully winning it.
