Yeah.

That's why these "disappointment posts" are especially unfathomable to me today. Did these people not see how badly we dominated the Vikings? How we trashed them, and beat them up, and had them cringing every time Marion came on the field?

This was an ***-whoopin'. That 10 points might as well have been 50.
But remember what you said after the Patriots game last week "They need to ***** so let them *****", that is a very great quote from a poster.

So what do you call it when Brady actually took off his pads?

You posted the score and stats. Five TDs up, yeah you pull the starter. Did they run three times and punt after that every possession? I didn't see the Fins game. I was coaching my kids soccer game. We won seven nothing, or Nil.:D

No, I can comprehend just fine. You were taking his quote that Championship teams don't call off the dogs and applying it to a terribly one sided score that had nothing to do with the score in our game!

You did not refute anything with that example!

Are the Pats a "championship team," or are they considered one?
Answer: Yes.

Did they call off the dogs yesterday?
Answer: Yes.

Does it have anything to do with our game?
Answer: No.

Is this statement true: "Championship teams, don't call off the dogs."?
Answer: No.

Do you understand?
Answer: probably not.

the smart ones do.

would you rather see us continue to push romo and he hurts his hammy more and we've got brad johnson to lead us against the giants? maybe longer? personally i don't EVER want to see brad johnson on the field during a game for us for anything more than holding a snap or something.

being a champion doesn't mean you beat the hell out of everyone any time possible. save it for when it matters and don't over extend when it doesn't.
I think that is what he really wants he wanted Romo, to do what Brady, did to the Dolphins yesterday throwing 6 TDs being that the Vikes pass defense was swiss cheese coming into the game.

He just wanted Romo, to pad his stats to me 31 of 39 277 yds 1 TD 0 INTs, I'll take that every week with a win.

No, it was a smart move. One I would like to see us do if we are up that big.
We won by ten. STs scored seven of our 24. When Bill saw his team up by fourteen he wasn't comfortable. He did the right thing.

Of course we changed our playcalling, but pounding the ball down their throats with Barber isn't exactly calling off the dogs. It's more like beating them to death slowly even though we know we could end their misery quick.

I wish we would do more of this in the first half. I think the team feeds off of it.

You are taking a simple statement that Dave said and saying that he meant that with the score 42-7 at halftime that the Patriots (a championship caliber team) would not "call of the dogs" at that point! That is not what he meant by the cliche and you know it.

It does not apply, and you know it, but I guess lawyers will argue anything if it fits their agenda!

If that is what I wanted I would say so. I'm not scared to voice my own opinion. Thnx anyway. I have been sticking up for Romo before you knew his name.

Oh please. It's calling off the dogs, no matter what the score is.

Dave is still trying to defend his statement, and arguing that the Pats didn't call of the dogs, but rather made a "smart move."

Our game wasn't in question. Their O had done zilch since the first drive. Our starting QB was still in the game and we were pounding the rock at the Vikes. To make that into some sort of shot at us, implying that we aren't a "championship team," because we stopped passing and ran instead.... that is the agenda in this thread.

How is that so how did you even know who Romo was, if I remember correctly there was not any games coming on television regarding Eastern Illinois, when Romo, was playing there.

I know he was a undrafted free agent in 2003, who Dallas signed and I also know that neither one of us knew a darn thing about him in 03.

HAHA very funny my friend.

Please don't say I have an agenda, it's ignorant to do so. I want us going all out all the time. That is an agenda? If we can win by fifty we should. If it's close and we still win that's great also. But to pull up on some one, that's just stupid. It can bite you.

I'm not sure unleashing Barber on Minn is calling off the dogs. :lmao:

No kidding! MB3 is a freaking monster! He kicks butt, then takes names! One of his stiff arms always revert to at least 5 or 6 more yards, and when he is tackled he is fighting all the way down, kicking and plowing, wiggiling and squirming!

Chuck Norris could not tackle MB3...

Now, I just don't know what happened to Julias...he had a few good runs, but, man something is just messing with his head, or he's not as good as I thought he was...

Oh, well, 6 - 1, baby!
