Seems it did not work for you. Or why dont you support your point of view with arguments but only by defamation.

Spare us your answer: we all know what to expect from you.

We will see what Jordan Phillips and Linval Joseph have left. But they are both massive DTs. It’s clear that Dallas wanted to get bigger and they did that.

Rockport...as your target?

Catch up to the massive element and the youth added during the past two drafts by Dallas.

He doesn't cry about every thing else!!

Nick Harris: Oh, for sure. I think being a top-10 defense is certainly on the table for this defense. Last season, the Cowboys finished fifth in total defense, and while I think some defenses around them have improved, I think this is a better overall unit coming out of camp. The depth is the biggest game-changer in my eyes, especially at the second level with the additions of Eric Kendricks and Marist Liufau as well as getting DeMarvion Overshown back from injury. I think the exclamation point was adding veteran defensive line presences in Carl Lawson and Jordan Phillips after identifying and quickly moving on a depth issue up front. Lastly, the secondary will prove to be another top unit in the league once again if it can stay healthy over the duration of the season. But even within that, the depth with guys like Caelen Carson and Markquese Bell playing back at safety this season will give them a little more comfort in case an injury does arise. All in all, give me this defense to be top-five once again.

I’ve got to be honest with you all—I'm not disappointed in this fanbase; I'm downright appalled. The lack of confidence I see here is staggering just because we havent gotten to the big dance in 28 years.

We'll guess what- 28 years is.a very small sample size in the grand scheme of things. This franchise has 5 rings, which not top many other fanbases can say.

How can so many of you, who call yourselves Cowboys fans, be filled with doubt and negativity about this team?

I understand that every season has its ups and downs, but the way some of you talk, you'd think we’re doomed before the season even starts. Where’s the faith? Where’s the loyalty? I can’t, for the life of me, see eye to eye with anyone who claims to be a fan but only spreads doubt and negativity.

Did we know that back in 1994 thus franchise was about to go on a dynasty run?

I have absolutely no respect for any Cowboys fan who doubts this team. You either believe in the star, or you don’t. If you’re going to jump ship every time the water gets a little rough, maybe it’s time to find a new team to “support.” But for those of us who truly believe, we know what this team is capable of, and we stand by them through thick and thin.

So, if you’re one of those who’s lost confidence, maybe take a step back and rethink what it means to be a Cowboys fan. Because here, we believe in our team—no matter what.

A lot of members here have no spine whatsoever and it's why Cowboys fans have such a reputation of being considered "bandwagon" fans.

Do better.

Go Cowboys.
Caring about the team is what being a “fan” of a team is about. Praising your favorite team without being critical when it’s warranted equates to not caring how the team performs. You obviously don’t care about the Cowboys. You’re fine no matter what they do.

Mickey Spagnola: If these young defensive players the Cowboys are counting on to replace some of those veterans leaving in free agency do step up you could be right. The key factor will be if this run defense improves. See, the secondary with the return of Trevon Diggs should improve. The Cowboys are four deep at safety. Now just need to find a fourth emergency corner (likely at this point rookie Caelen Carson). {for the insulters asking who the hell was Caelen Carson}

You guys keep getting it wrong and I’m sure on purpose. Nothing wrong with being critical of the Cowboys. They haven’t won in almost 3 decades. But to come here to every thread and spew negativity every day offering nothing but your bitterness? That’s a character issue and it brings down the board. (Not talking about you but others).

You are a half glass full kinda fan. Hats off to ya. But some of us are a little long in the tooth and 28 years has eaten up a lot of our remaining years while we wait for this once proud franchise to get their act together and not be ran by people who learned on the job and continue to do so. So enjoy your half glass of beverage.

Here’s a good example of who the OP is talking about. Does nothing here but whine along with his hater buddies. That’s not being a fan Bob, that’s just being something else I can’t say.
The truth really bothers you doesn’t it, nothing you say can change the facts, I guess you you think 29 years is to small a sample size too.

The average Cowboys fan is far more sophisticated when it comes to honest evaluation than the stepford ra-ra types. You have mistaken candid and honest criticism for a lack of support.

In fact the opposite is true. I will make the analogy of those we might consider friends. Indeed, many times this team has felt like a friend.

Let's say you had information that was important to the life of a friend. Giving this information to him would create short term anger and sorrow, much of it directed towards you, the messenger. However, not telling him would create far greater long term damage.

A good friend would tell him, absorb whatever anger, and accept his apology once he realized you really were looking out for him. That is true friendship.

Trust me, when the opening kickoff is made, the Cowboys fans in this forum are going to root for the Cowboys and cheer them on with every ounce of emotional energy possible.

After the game, they will discuss every aspect of the game, offering both compliments and criticisms accordingly.

Do you not read all of the exciting comments when it comes to our rookies, our kicker, other players that have shown impressive improvements from last season? I agree it may not be completely balanced, but is it ever that way for any NFL team's fans?

As far as some fans expressing "hate", that is just the other side of the same coin expressing love. He cares. That is far better than expressing indifference.

Watch U.S. anti-fascist film from the 1940’s. Repeatedly. Until you decide that your thoughts are obviously within a scope that should consider not posting callout threads to fellow fans. Accept others for their thoughts and avoid and block those that you don’t wish to view. You will never convince others that have doubt about the team to have/show more faith-accept that fact to make it easier on yourself. Plenty of fans think with their brains and cheer with their hearts. They don’t show belief and faith because that may not be their style of fandom. They are interested enough in the team to still be here posting with you after 28 years of playoff futility. Look in the mirror with greater levels of scrutiny before you belittle your fellow fans.
