Guess you are one of these that just don't get it, so need to be an annoyance. Guess you didn't get your Barbie Doll either.
I was comparing the stats as he said Gannon was better. But Flacco may not have been.
As I said, go back and read it all.
I don't have the patience for this type of crap you started. You are wasting my time.

The original point was that Gannon was a bus driver in 2002 when the raiders went to the Super Bowl. You seem to agree

Please, state your case. And PS , questioning everyone else's comprehension when you're not even fully aware of what is being discussed, is a bad look

It's Christmas so I'll be gracious to you. I'll give you another shot to tell me how the 2002 league MVP bears any comparison to Daks impact on our team offensively

Lemme ask a question first. Will the coaching staff be in a go for the win or don't lose it mode?

Does the HC and OC trust the QB enough to put the game on him and not try to play ball control keep away from the opposing offenses?

The Cowboys will have the 12th ranked, out of 12, offense in yards and points in the playoffs.
The Cowboys will have the 4th in yards and 3rd in points in the playoffs, 3rd in the NFC behind CHI and MIN.

Seems pretty clear to me, the D will take the team as far as it can go and Dak will be asked the same that Dilfer and Johnston were asked, just don't screw it up. Play ball control and field position. How many QB's are asked to do that?

I already did, you show me? What do you not understand about that?
I showed the links comparing the QB's in question.
Now you do the same since you want to keep it up.

A I said, you are one of these posters that keep on ragging about proof, but yet you provide nothing.

True. But I don’t think D’s Like that exist any more in the NFL.
A team might get close one year but keeping it together would be a problem. The last great one in SEA is a prime example. The more successful the D is, the harder to keep it together.

The Cowboys have the challenge of keeping this one together and building on it as it is not yet complete.

Some things never change, we changed QB's but the argument stayed the same.

But the difference now is we have a Qb that couldn’t put up 4000 yards in a season even if you gave him 2 extra games to get it done. So there’s that

If Rich Gannon can take Duh Raiduhs to the Super Bowl, we most definitely can get there with Dak.

The year they went to the Super Bowl Gannon led the league in yards and was second in passer rating, he was also the league MVP for the second straight year. People need to stop looking at the stats in a vacuum and comparing them to today. Gannon was light years better than Dak is relative to his peers in 2002. Dak would be more comparable to Tommy Maddox in 2002, they rank about the same in passer rating and yards.

To clarify- The question was “Can Dak lead us to the Super Bowl?” My answer to that question is “yes, it’s possible.” Is it likely? Probably not. And I say that not because of Dak but because winning a SB is not about just one player. It’s about a TEAM including its coaching staff.

I try to be as objective as possible, knowing that in reality if you’re a fan, that’s almost impossible. So with an attempt at objectivity, I don’t think it is likely this TEAM gets to a SB. Not impossible- just unlikely. But stranger things have happened.

As to the defense being “elite”....I can’t objectively agree with that. It’s certainly the best part of our team but is this defense capable of “carrying” this team to a championship? I don’t think so. It’s still too inconsistent. Against the colts and bucs, I did not see an “elite” defense. It’s certainly the best D we’ve seen around here for a long time.

My hope is we have a long playoff run. My objective brain says it’s doubtful.

I’ve seen a version of Dak that’s good enough to do it. Question is what are the odds I get that Dak 3 straight games with all the other pieces clicking?

Well to me, what gets me about these kind of threads, is they filled with to much predetermined expectation about a player or team, when it is yet to be deserved. The question you should ask first is can the Cowboys, or Dak, win a playoff game. That seems to be more realistic at this point given an unproven team and unproven quarterback. Would I want the cowboys to win a Superbowl? Sure. XD but seeing a bunch of the fan base thinking that they will at this point makes one want to facepalm.

Dumb Post...what in the hell was yours?
You say it is dumb because of the different era's. You were the one comparing them them from DIFFERENT ERA's. then you call my post dumb?
I am showing you facts that you failed to provide in your stupid drive by posting.

You going to make statements like that, and bring up different era's, then you open it up to ALL the history. Football is still football dude,
Can't open it up then back track to cherry pick your narrative / agenda.
Ahahahahha... I love it when ppl come with that holier than thou crap.:popcorn:

The answer if No. If you ask if Zeke and the defense can lead us to a super bowl the answer is yes if Dak stops taking sacks and dumping the ball to the running back.
