I wonder every Sunday if Romo could lose 20 pounds quickly and get 4 good pain killers. We score 30 before the 4th begins.

But in all seriousness answering the OP, our defense would have to carry us B'more '00, TB '02, Pgh '06, Seattle '14, Denver '16-style. Or we would need a huge miraculous, game changing play by Micah i.e. Harrison running the whole football field in '09 for a what should've been an easy TD-saving shove out of bounds before halftime or a game-winning INT by Diggs, Malcolm Butler-style in '15.

So, yes it could happen... But, it will take a lot of luck and things going our way like it has for a few past champs. We can only hope and pray...

That is, if we can ever get past the Divisional round again post-Troy

I simply don't trust Kellen Moore nor Mike McCarthy in big games, and certainly not in the playoffs.

Kellen's first-half offensive game plans are putrid and unimaginative. So the Cowboys always start slow, with the same stale plays, which feature being ultra-conservative early, never throwing deep early (if ever), and not stretching the field early.

And Mike McCarthy, I don't believe he'll make solid, critical decisions in big games, and in crunch time. He'll bungle something, eventually, like going for it on 4th and 1 on the Cowboys' own 35 early in the game, because he "felt we could get it".

This is so reminiscent of the early ninety’s except it’s flipped conferences. The NFC Champion was basically garunteed a SB win over any of the weak AFC opponents and now it’s the AFC in the drivers seat

so basically, NO……NFC Champions would be the Cowboys ceiling, which I’d settle for at this juncture

I have to agree shabazz, I think the NFC championship is conceivable. As for winning it all, No. Imo, that's not in the cards.

You can't delete post. You just have to edit them and say something completely different. And in order for your like button to appear, you have to give @Risen Star ten likes first.

Yup.
The defense is carrying to much weight so far. That will get you a long ways but when we're up against a championship caliber offense with all the chips on the line the O is going to have contribute more to help the D.

Aren't the Iggles a championship caliber offense? We held them to under 200 yards passing and 24 points
