Mac Jones is a top 15-18 quarterback and the Patriots have the best coach in the history of football. If the money is right he will go anywhere. He is not taking a discount. That is why the Cardinals could not trade him.
Best coach is JAG now that his golden Boy has left him. Mac JOnes.... Belicheck doesnt even like him. Top 18???? Is that saying much?

Great, another eye text expert. We need more of them!!!!
facts is facts... his numbers werent subjective like those of you trying to say how old he is and his numbers are going to keep dropping. IN 4 of 8 games he had 41 catches....for a team that was a dumpster fire at the end.
Do you see Cooks having 4 10 catch games all season???? Lamb only had 3 double digit reception games and he played all 17 games. Not knocking Lamb but trying to dismiss Hopkins is foolish.... he isnt done yet. Well, lets just see who goes looking to get him and that will tell you what teams think of his skill level.

It will be interesting. I don't think anybody knows where he will go.

Let’s say the Cowboys were to sign Hopkins, that would pretty much be the end of Jalen Tolbert unless we suffer injuries. With Ceedee at number one and assuming Cooks is our number two, that leaves a battle at number three with Gallop, Hopkins, and everyone else. One of them would end up our number four receiver. The Cowboys could always try and trade Gallop but after last season, I’m not sure anyone would offer much. Tolbert certainly wouldn’t get much opportunity to better on last year being behind those receivers. The Cowboys would certainly have to make some decisions bringing Hopkins on board.
We are not signing Hopkins.

Cowboys should offer around 8 with another couple of million in incentives. If somebody else gives him 15, I guess they can have him.

so a 3rd rd pick is inactive for damn near every game last year, the cowboys have 3 excellent WRs in front of that same player, and saying Id be shocked if the guy that was rarely active on games days did anything this year is somehow an "Extreme," statement?

Nah, Id say it is an accurate statement. What would a good year for Tolbert be???25 catches? Id be shocked if he did that.
You said you’d be ‘SHOCKED’ if Tolbert ever does squat. That’s extreme. Small school kid who had a rough rookie season. Quelle surprise!! No reason to write him off yet.

How the hell can you say it was bad coaching? Who was doing the bad coaching? Was it the same bad coaching that helped Cedric Wilson have a very productive year the season before Tolbert arrived? Was it the same coaching that had CeeDee turn into a number 1?
Whoa settle down there pilgrim!

It was bad coaching because they knew he came from a small school (South Alabama) with a basic offense. Throwing Tolbert out there and telling him to learn the entire playbook for each WR position was extremely dumb. He was completely overwhelmed.

Ced Wilson came from Boise State and caught 45 passes in his 3rd year with the Cowboys. His first year he caught only 5!!!

CeeDee Lamb came from Oklahoma and was a first round pick. He came from a pro style offense. Huge difference.

That is EXACTLY how I can 100% accurately say it was bad coaching. Bad HC coaching. Bad OC coaching. Bad WR coaching.

Last years WR4 went 7-121-0. So when the season starts and Tolbert doesn't start catching 5-6 passes per game, understand he is easily the 7th or lower receiving option.

This kid is really very talented. He just got dinged and some bad coaching last year. If he is healthy, he will contribute.
He didnt get hurt at all last year. He got outplayed by a rookie u drafted free agent, and couldn't get get on the field even with Gallup out. Why do you jusf assume it was "bad coaching" and not the possibility that he isnt any good

They paid Gallup, Lamb is due for a contract and they brought in Cooks. I don't even see the Cowboys getting involved at all or doing any due diligence on this one.
Timing is also bad, Jerry rarely(if ever) makes major cap moves after the draft. The roster is more or less set
