While I love the value, and don't have a particular concern with the knee, I question the scheme fit here. I don't know if he's strong enough to play inside in a 3-4 and take on guards in the run game. Hope I'm wrong.

but wait...weren't we told by the braintrust on this board that Bradie James is not a problem with this defense...let's examine the last 3 drafts....with our first pick in the 2009 draft we pick an ILB...with our 2nd pick in the 2010 draft we pick an ILB (and a guy we had rated 16th on our board)...and with our 2nd pick in the 2011 draft we pick an ILB....I guess we are sending a message to Keith Brooking?

i did not not like what i saw in that tho
he did not look like a big hitter at all and was definitely an olb in a 4-3 on the weak side. his tackling left a lot to be desired in that clip.

And he was ranked very high at one point as a 4-3 OLB. Can he play inside in the 3-4? Can he stop the run in the NFL where players are much more physical? Is he healthy?

I don't like this pick at all. It is probably my least favorite of the past 5 years. Maybe that means he becomes a super-stud with my track record but I don't see the fit for us or the value.

The Cowboys have a new strength and condition coach that can build him up...he has a defensive coach that he can learn from...and getting a top 15 talent at 40 is nothing to not like!

If you see the fit...look again.

Bro...you, me, and the rest of the forum have no friggen clue what the "scheme" is going to be under Ryan. Think about that...

The scheme that Ryan uses is nothing like the basic stuff we see.
