Carter is the pick

You forgetting we have a new defensive coordinator? Ryan's system is a lot different than Wade Phillips. Stupid troll.

Wow! You learn who is a troll very quickly.

I like you already.

Dr. James Andrews (who surgically repaired Stafford's right shoulder) wrote a letter to all NFL teams saying that Carter's rehab was going very well. Carter is expected to be back on the football field in late summer or early fall.

He had an ACL tear. He doesnt have a chronic knee issue.

Doc. Andrews letter to the league makes me feel somewhat better and the fact Carter is a work out warrior does not hurt either.

guy looked so-so in 2009, his 2010 stuff looks like Dawkins! And at the end he runs down WR Marcus Davis

The highest 3-4 DE or CB on their board.

So no name?

Just a DE or CB?

I thought you hated how we drafted in the late 90's

How can I give you a name if I don't have access to their board? We need help today, not one or two years down the line.

I would like to see that as well. Evidently they felt good about his return and Carter was looked at as a 1st rd pick before the injury

Opposed to the highest player on their board?

Yeah, that's no way to run a draft.

I know he is going through rehab Andrews said he was about halfway through it and expect him to be back on the field late summer early fall. They expect a full recovery

Some people don't see how it is not black and white in football.

Everyone points to how bad the corners and safeties were but miss out on the fact that our starting LBs could not cover at all so they needed safety help, which confused Ball and left the corners on an island. All of which was worsened by Ratliff getting no inside rush.

Evidently lots of folks figure they can run a draft better then the Cowboys do.

Not many 3-4 DEs worth taking at 40 though. The Commanders have taken the only one so far in Jarvis Jenkins and I even think that was a reach. Austin and Paea don't have the ideal height you'd look for in a 3-4 DE and they're going to teams that run the 4-3

If Christian Ballard continues to fall to our 3rd rounder, I'd take him. If a NT like Kenrick Ellis is there, I'd do it too. The rest of the DLine prospects are mid-round level

There ya go.

So if Mallett was the highest guy left on their board they should have selected him? ILB is a need, but not a crying need. It would be unduly optimistic to expect anything from him in 2011, and it remains to be seen if he's big enough to hold his own at the point of attack or fully recover from the ACL.
