I don't know what this guy expected after sitting the entire off season out in order to get paid. This was bound to happen when you did not practice with your QB. The chemistry is not going to be there. The first bunch of games are your preseason, suck it up and work.
They're 6 weeks in, plus they've been playing together for years. I don't think any amount of off-season would have changed what happened.

This is what happens when CeeDee sat out mini-camp, training camp and preseason. Dak and CeeDee are not on the same page. There is no problem (quarrel). Just need more practicing together to make sure they are on the same page.
They are vet pros....they can;t be in sync by NOW?

I have played pickup games with good "chemistry" but millionaire vets Dak and CD can;t be "on the same page".

Disfunction alert.

Understood, but Turpin is way too short (5'9") to become a deep threat. If a defender is within arm's reach of him, all they have to do is raise their arms and bat down the pass because of how short Turpin is.

Tyron Billy-Johnson is 6'1" and fast (4.3s 40 time). His height and speed would make covering him deep much harder than Turpin.
Turpin had a great play last night...and an excellent throw by Dak too.

Seems like Dak was studying the play... I hate when someone talks to me when I'm reading... nothing to see here... Great comeback!
You're probably right. I thought he was just hanging his head, but now that you mention it, it does look like he's studying the play.

Agree to disagree, It’s all about going through progression , Brooks was in the same area and Instead of predetermined throw Dak had read the routes , he wouldn’t have gone to CD and hit more direct guy in front, see other Forum members agreeing with me( Candian Cowboys fan for ex. )
Blah, blah, blah. Hate on bro.

Since I can't view the vids, no idea what you're trying to say. You're using only one example in saying a deep threat has to be tall? Man, there are many many examples of deep threats who were not, and I named 3 top ones currently in the NFL. Of course you'd rather all WR's be 6-4 and run a 4.3, but that's not reality. There are only so many really tall really fast guys to go around. Prolly not more than 3-5 currently in the NFL. You can count 'em if you like to refute that part of it, but the fact remains that many top deep threats are not tall.
Why can't you view the YouTube videos I provided? Click on the underlined link presented inside each of them. That should open each one up for viewing.

Nah. Disagree. They simply are not fully in sync. They just need more practice to get their thoughts on the same thinking level.

Maybe, maybe not but I'm just curious why Dak didn't at least acknowledge CeeDee with a head nod or something instead of ignoring what he said. That seem normal to you?
It does when CeeDee is acting like a brat for all to see. If he wants to be on the same page, go sit with him and talk it out, man to man. I get the emotions, but he does this often and then checks it in.

I have to wonder if there's lingering hurt feelings due to whatever passed between them in the Green Bay playoff game and that kept them from syncing in the off-season. Just a thought. Why else would they be so off?

If that’s what he said, then it’s a non issue. “Jump ball, 4….I got you” is actually being supportive of Dak who just made a mistake.
There is no issue. These things happen all season to all teams. If your offense throws the ball 42 times in a tight game, there are going to be some mistakes.

the problem seems to be they are not on the same page which makes them both a part of the problem... a real FO would get them into a room and get this fixed because neither is going anywhere anytime soon. Stop saying "There is no problem" its clear as day on the TV every week.
I disagree. The media will keep trying to create problems. They profit from it and fans eat it right up.

The solution isnt to get them in a room. I'm sure they spend enough time in rooms already.

The solution is McCarthy moving CD around so the defenses can't roll coverage to him and both him and Dak have these plays made from frustration.
Don't just tell the guys to not be competitive. Put them in the position to succeed.

They aren't off. CD is the only weapon so defenses are scheming to take him out of the game. He and Dak are forcing things to keep him involved. They are not off. Coaches need to fix it. Move CD around. Scheme him open sometimes. Then no need to force anything.

Seems normal for a competitor like Dak who was upset with himself to self sooth. I don't see any problems other than what the media will try to create. Like they used to do with Dez. It's part of being a cowboy. Coaches need to move CD around and scheme him open or into single coverage. Thats the solution really. Don't force balls into doubles. These coaches should know their player well enough to know that this will happen if you just let CD get locked down all night with doubles.

I didn't get a chance to see the games. I am going to watch the replays, but I heard and read that he quit on that route and jogged at the end, where Dak threw to where he was expecting him to be. no excuse for either of them if that's the case.
Did you read that on Tad’s twitter feed?
