Jefferson and Lamb have the same damn agent.... this was so obvious how it was going to go down. Jefferson is the best WR in the league and didnt need to wait for anyone else to sign. Lamb needed to wait on Jefferson, not the other way around.

Jerry is trying to do what is best for the team. CeeDee and Dak are trying to do what is best for them, regardless of the team or the rest of the players.

Sure their numbers are close... Lamb had a career year last year and Jeffereson missed manygames last year.
I love Lamb, but how many in here would take Lamb over Jefferson? Im splitting hairs as they are both great, but the consensus is Jefferson is the top dog.

Not saying they should have but you think if they would have offered Lamb Hill's deal before/during last season he'd say "No thanks, Im gonna wait on Justin Jefferson". So yes it's very much likely that there was an offer that could have been made prior to this offseason that could of got it done.

I don't disagree. I'm just pointing out the argument they are making and they'll counter the Jefferson injury by pointing to CDs durability.

Ok, then don't be upset with Jerry for playing hardball. Remember, both Jerry and Stephen have said since last season finished that their main priorities was getting Dak and CeeDee resigned to new contracts. Sounds like it's the players and their agents who have been stalling in order to allow all the other players to sign first in order to move the asking price for Dak and CeeDee. If anything, we should be upset with the greedy players.
