Chad Jackson released by Patriots

IMO, the spygate scandle DID make their talent evaluators look better...the cheating helped the team win more games, therefore making the players look better than what are, therefore making the scouting department look better.

Yes, I know they went 16-0, blah, blah, blah last season. But this was after having their roster stacked. The spygate thing helped them more in their early years of the so-called dynasty.

Im just sayin...

I really think your just grasping for something.

Marc Colombo is a linemen, Jackson is a receiver.....
I'll bet you 50 bucks Bob knew that.

He's talking about gambling on someone else's HIGH draft pick will one day be a contributor.

Unless JJ has some other WR that he is looking at or wanting to trade for, I would seriously consider Jackson.

I just think that with 11 OL and now possible 12 DBs (assuming Killer), that a trade is in the works.

I still think we add another QB, but I think an additional WR is a possibility as well.

Evidence that SEC recievers generally stink.

I would still say give him a chance we are very thin at reciever it can't hurt to have been an understudy to moss and welker

I like him best among the final group of cuts. The Pats are tremedously deep at the wr position, and there is no shame in being the very last cut on that team.

Jimmy Smith reclamation project?
Get Chad Jackson and Rodalle Williams in here now Jerry.stop fooling yourselves about your recievers.

It would be interesting to see how you personally rate Chad Jackson, Rodalle Williams and Joe Horn in a list from best-to-worst.

I can't see where it would hurt to bring him in. He blew me and most of the NFL Network guys away at the combine. If you would have told me then that two years later he would get cut I wouldn't have believed it.

I wanted this kid so bad when he was drafted I could taste it so I hope jerry gets him quickly before someone else does.........................

It's a pipe dream anyway. We are too far down in the pecking order. If the Bengals don't get him, the Eagles will.

Were not too far down if we're aggressive & go get him.

I thought Jerry ruled out WR's Romo hasn't practiced with.

When did he change his mind?

He didn't mean it like that....He meant it is a young play that had set back with injuries that Dallas gave a shot and lived up to draft potential
