There's no evidence of what you say as being true. While Kawhi Leonard was in the game, the Spurs were killing GS on their home court. During the regular season the Spurs beat GS 2 of 3 games including a blow out on GS's home court.

Congrats on winning the regular season series, lol.

You forgot to mention one of those wins (3/11) the Warriors didn't play: Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala....oh, and Durant was injured and not playing.

Like I said before, you play fast and loose with the facts. I actually supported you in another thread early on because you sounded objective.....then you kept talking.

....... Who did Bruce Bowen ever eliminate from the playoffs that change the balance of power in a playoff series? ....

Well, it wasn't for lack of trying. That 2007 series with the Suns was some of his finest work. He knee'd Nash in the groin and tried to trip Stoudemire from behind as he went up to shoot.

Don't believe me? Check out this video, especially in the 1:20 to 1:30 time frame, especially around 1:24-25:

And if I'd have been Vince Carter, I would fought with him every time he undercut me after the first time....would not have cared if they kicked me out and fined me. There would have been a brawl .....every ......frickin' .... time.

Not remotely.

Golden State was coming off a 73 win season and lost a close game 7 in the NBA finals. This was of course coming off winning a championship the previous season. San Antonio is not in any way the same caliber of team, they just aren't. Not to mention, CP3 at his age, is not comparable to Durant, so I don't think the two situations are similar at all.

So what's the common underlying thread in all of these?

Answer: A free agent player goes to a team he thinks provides him the best chance of winning.

That's it.

LeBron did it when he made the "decision" to join forces with Wade and Bosh in Miami.

LaMarcus Aldridge signed with Spurs right after they won the Title in 2014.

So what's the acceptable amount of games a team must not win for it to be okay for FA to sign with? 62 but not 63?

A fight and suspensions is what Bruce was trying to provoke. VC was a strong will individual to not give in to that trap.

Hardly hyperbole. You are delusuonal if you think if you think the Spurs were going to mop the floor with GS with a healthy Leonard. Outside of maybe Mills Spurs simply dont have the defensive backcourt to cope with GS shooters. And are Gasol and Aldridge going to be effective at crunch time late in a series playing at GS pace? I doubt it.
So what was that 23 point differential butt whooping that was going on until Leonard left the game. Hear what you are saying but the reality of what actually happened up until Leonard left the game says otherwise.

Ya thats one game. Celtics got beat down for the first 2 games of the ECF even worse, the won a game AFTER IT was shelved. One game means little, and lead or no lead, SA wasn't gonna compete with GS over a 4 game series. They just dont have the firepower with or without Leonard

The fact that it didn't happen is why that crap was allowed to continue. You're messing with an NBA guy's livelihood when you hurt his feet/ankle.

You obviously don't watch the Spurs play every game as I do... that butt whooping is what they do when they have Kawhi in the game. I know you want to pretend that the Celtics are comparable but you are fooling yourself.

So they win every game, all 82 plus playoff games by more than 20? You are seriously homering it up hear

They obviously don't win every game but they have won more regular season and playoff games since 1999 than anyone one else.

Since drafting Duncan, the Spurs won five championships and posted a 1,072-438 regular season record, giving the team a .710 winning percentage, which is the best 19-year stretch in NBA history and was the best in all of the NBA, NFL, NHL and MLB over the last 19 years.

But you said that butt whooping is what they do when they have Leonard in the lineup. Im not questioning the Spurs very impressive history. Im questioning your statement

Don't take my word for it... look how many games he plays and how many the Spurs lost.

You are delusional. Yeah you may have taken game 1. It took the Warriors missing every shot and being reckless with the ball for you to get that lead. Lets look at that regular season series that you spoke of. You blew us out the first game of the season WAY BACK IN OCTOBER. Second game was the battle of the benches and the third game with the #1 seed on the line we curb stomped you in the second half spotting you a lead in the first half with NO DURANT. I remember the Spurs blowing out the Thunder in game 1 in last years semi finals and your almighty Kawhi Spurs were packing their bags for a fishing trip after game 6. There is no team with only one all star caliber (Kawhi) beating this juggernaut GSW team.

So what I'm hearing is when GS has a bad game it doesn't count but if the Spurs have just one then they suck. You are bragging about one game that some how mattered more than any other game even though GS lost two to the Spurs... and I'm the delusional one.

Kahwi's injury is actually the best thing that could ever have happened for Spurs fans. This way, they didn't have to watch their team get eliminated from the postseason and they can just play a fantasy game of claiming they would have won the whole thing had Kawhi never got injured.

BTW, delusional is thinking a half a game of play is a predictor of things to come for an entire series.
