Paul traded to the Rockets.

Paul traded to the Rockets.
Going to be interesting.Harden can play off the ball, granted he became an MVP candidate as a ball dominant point. I think it negates his contribution some but ultimately it works in theory. My question is who's team is it now, and does that become an issue. Just because Harden can move off the ball doesnt mean he wants to
Its up to D'antoni to make it work. In the talent driven in the NBA, its hard to both field a talented team and be particular about typeGoing to be interesting.
Both these guys have on-ball skills.
Neither is an off-the-ball guy.
Neither are good defenders at this point in their careers.
But that's a lot of pure talent.
Wade and Anthony are serious possibilities for stretch releases.I'm hearing rumblings that Lebron, Paul, Wade, and Anthony will all be UFA in 2018. I hope they all form the superteam they've wanted for years..... and then get steamrolled by somebody like Boston, Philly or even Minnesota.
Damn, that didn't work out. So I'll move on.
LeBron James to the Spurs in 2018!
Yup, the bottom feeder Clippers that we use to know will be back again and the Lakers can return to being the best team in their own home city. The era of Lob City is over and done with......now to be replaced by the era of Flop City.....thank you Houston Rockets.
LOLLLLL and here's mrtxstar after the Warriors crushed the Cavs in the Finals...You are talking to a Spurs fan. No other team has a longer streak of making the playoffs with at least 50 wins. You don't get to pretend you can teach me anything about the relevance of the regular season when it comes to the playoffs. With Parker and Leonard, the Spurs have more than ample horses to sweep GS up and down the court and even without Parker was getting the job done before Zaza took out Leonard. As any team would do, the Spurs lost only when their main talent players were eliminated. All you offer to the contrary is hyperbole.

"The balance of power in the NBA is off kilter with KD joining the Warriors. The commish should not have allowed it but as long as he's going to allow that to exist then he needs to allow the Akron Hammer to come to the RiverCity of San Antonio to challenge GS. Otherwise it will just be a League of 29 teams vs the Warriors and the Warriors will win."
Reality set in... finally.
OUR league.
WAAAARRRRRIIIIOOOORRRRSSSS!!!!

Yeah nobody is stopping Golden State no matter how much these teams load up. Not only are the Warriors by far the most talented team in the league, but they also probably have the most continuity in the league. Everyone but KD has been there for a while, and KD will be even more familiar with their system next year. Nobody is touching them unless the Cavs add a 4th superstar.
Young teams will get better. A team like Minny is loading up with talent. Just signed Jeff Teague.

PF - KTowns
SF - Wiggins
PG - Teague
SG - Butler
My Lakers will have PGeorge and possibly James next summer.
Minny has to add Millsap if it wants to have any chance to compete with GS this season. I didn't think the Rubio-to-Teague move was much of an improvement. Teague is also 3 years older. Maybe they felt he was a better fit. Looks like they're trying to win now and pair some vets with their two young stars. A move for Millsap would give them an impressive roster. They could easily be the second best team in the West. Still don't see anyone touching GS for the next year or two.
I'm not saying the Clippers were every anything to celebrate but they have been better than the Lakers for more than a few seasons. The Lakers have been and still are a shell of their former Mighty selves. In a nut shell... L.A. may be a Laker town but the Lakers are still a bottom feeder in the NBA... now with the Clippers blowing up, the Lakers just have local company. Don't be offended by my language... it's just factual statistics. I have great respect for the Lakers winning legacy but their recent history does nothing to honor that legacy.Clipps were never the best team over the Lakers in Los Angeles. Clipps never made it to a WCF, much less win a title. It's a Laker town no matter what Clipps do.
