The dude needs more carries. McFadden should be the lead back right now, but there is no reason for McFadden to be getting as many carries as he is right now unless we plan on running him into the ground and going the rest of the season with Randle who may or may be be there. Give the dude a few series and see if he can get in any kind of rhythm.

I think Michael is as physically gifted a back as we have ever seen. I think he is dumb as rocks and has no idea how to run in a zone scheme. Even Julius Jones didn't run into the back of his own guys with the frequency Michael does. He has to be in space to do anything. He's be a great 3rd down back, if he didn't have hands of stone.

Well at least you know you're just old and that's not how it goes anymore with most people in the age of free agency. Them days are back with the telephone book and VCR lol

That's true and I'm not normally one to let that bother me, but the fact he dropped a pass right before that and then immediately starts trying to hip bump Seahawks players? At least pretend you give a crap.

He needs either a full half or at least a full Qtr of play time...

Lol...I was actually speaking of Rod Smith, I saw him out for a pass in the right flat, but the pass was batted down at the LOS.

Ok my mistake haha. It did remind me of the one pass Michael had though

Yeah I will be honest and say that's moreso fans talk. Personally I don't care because for me not talking to somebody or not don't mean they don't give a crap. Its like people who scream and people think they care more than a quiet person. It doesn't mean that they don't care just means they show they care in different ways IMO.

Um ok thanks I guess scout. I don't know what he is I don't think he's really gotten a chance but online seems to be home of a lot of former and future scouts. Not

In English, please.

I love a good bashing of folks, but, listen. Some guys take longer to learn the playbook. Michael is clearly one of those guys. Look at our very own Bruce Carter, who has traditionally been terrible in his first year+ of learning a new system, only to look Pro-Bowl caliber after his long learning curve is complete (he is currently looking like a bust in Tampa by the way).

All I am saying is to give the dude an off-season and training camp before writing him off. He is already here, so why the heck not?

I think the argument here is his history. He was with Seattle for two years, and they couldn't trust him enough to be a backup. And I'm sure they tried really hard to make him successful. They drafted him in the 2nd round.

The old grammar police shtick :lmao2:That is English if you can't see and understand it maybe English isn't your first language. My point was what your saying is silliness and sounds like a bootleg scout. That's why I took a little lightweight jab at it before saying my thoughts on the matter. Do you understand that or does it need to be "in English, please"?

Y'all don't need to get upset over me not agreeing with every post of y'all's. I doubt you'd say "English please" if I agreed with you because that's never happened on any messageboard or in real life ever. Sometimes we will agree sometimes not that's it. Never personal on my end.

He is too much about himself. I thought we wanted RKG? he , while a decent back with potential is not RKG imho....

Get me a lunch pale guy.

Seems like that's all we have added to this team as of lately....When is Jerry ever gonna learn about character?

Michael is irritating and frankly no idea why they don't cut him and sign Montee Ball. It's not like they would be losing much and at least Ball can catch and is reasonably professional.

Walter Payton was a lunch pale guy.
Larry Csonka comes to mind.
Riggins..

Emmitt Smith may have been the ultimate lunch pale guy.

Murray was extacly that too....

None of us have seen enough of him to say whether he's bad or good. Hand gestures and talking to old teammates isn't nearly enough to tell us if he can play or not.
If you're that interested in what he can do you should be asking why he's not getting more carries. We spent a 7th on him and at this point it looks like we should've kept the pick, at least we'd be forced to use that.
I personally want to see a lot more of what he can do but I doubt I'll see that happen for reasons id prefer not to discuss here, because if I did the whole thread would be moved to a sub category sub thread region by the thread count police who monitor these highly critical issues with a microscope!!!

Good lord, hyperbole much? Let me tell you about Christine Michael -- yes, he is dumb. And no, he is not as physically gifted as we've ever seen. He stutter steps before cutting, he does not have the ability to change direction without losing speed. As such, he will never be a particularly good RB at this level.

Does anybody know the terms of the conditional pick Seattle would get? Does he need to exceed a certain number of carries for us to lose the pick?

Because Monte Ball is as soft as butter. Are you really serious with this noise? The guy was demoted to four-string in Denver, only because they didn't have a fifth string.
