Church To Sign With Jacksonville

LeBron knew he had to leave Cleveland to win his first championship. He took less money to win. He still got a massive contract and now has rings and $$$

Church will only have the $$$

my point was is that he did it to win. Which was My point to begin with.

It's funny how much more Church is valued in the league than he is by Cowboys fans. Those pro personnel people must not know what they are doing.

He got $6m from a franchise absolutely flush with cash and who has not had a winning season in a decade.

Top safeties make near twice that and you don't need to be a professional scout to see that Church has poor range in coverage.

Yea, those front office folks in Jacksonville really are at the top of their game.

They might actually win 4-5 games this year instead of their normal 2-3:lmao:

I'm not really sure what we're doing this offseason... letting half of our team walk away and not replacing anyone

Dude, technically FA hasn't even officially started. We know what they are doing. They will fill holes in the second and third waves of FA. It's what they have done the last few years.

I don't particularly like it myself but it is what it is.

Bye Church.....understand its the money.....can't blame ya.....but winning will not be in the equation anytime soon.

Honestly, i'm kinda hoping they just purge all the dead weight on defense this year. The only guy i'd bring back is Carr.

Get a #2 WR in the first couple of rounds, bring in a bunch of defense in this draft, and let all the young guys play.

I'd rather keep the cap space for next year and figure out what we have on defense than just throw money at some bad players.

I don't understand why people expect anything different?

We've done the same thing for the past decade.

I say go sign Micah Hyde, Domato Peko and resign Carr or Mo. roll into the draft

Both players already have strong offers.

Think cheaper and way more obscure.

Would you rather have a financially viable future or the street cred to tell some "big game" stories at the local watering hole? Of course both would be nice but not everyone is Peyton or Tom.

Oh I know. We will scrounge the depths of the Browns practice squad that are 26 but have potential. Maybe teddy Williams is still in the league

It don't matter to me...he must not want to be part of a winner. Jacksonville always seems to have $$$ for free agency.

Just looked up the chart we're getting a 5th round Comp for Church. Was thinking it could be a 4th. For 3rd/4th round consideration a player needs to sign a deal worth more than 8 million annually. Maybe Leary?
